Usually cookout is really awesome. It sucks to have to leave a generally negative review. The guy who gave me my food and change did not look at me, or talk to me whatsoever. And worse than that, I fell for the marketing campaign of the fresh watermelon milkshake, which is easily the most disgusting milkshake I've ever tasted in my life. With that being said, my normal cookout locations, in Greensboro, North Carolina, are exceptionally well-staffed, and most of the food I get there is normally great. Maybe whichever City this is in just does not hold the same pride in their location.

First time trying it. Got a regular burger out west style with white cheddar bites and hush puppies. Everything had a good taste, good burger. Definitely try it again. Only thing i hated was getting in and out with traffic.

Not like the one in my hometown... portions are small... my side order of cheddar cheese nuggets consisted of 4!!!! I DID get more than 4 French fries tho! Not worth the $8 for my meal

New to the area and the kids and I wanted to give Cook Out a try. Never again. We did a to go order and the entire order was incorrect, cold, and absolutely disgusting. The BBQ sandwich was soaking wet, not sauce. It was just gross. I ordered a chili cheese hot dog and got a hot dog with cabbage. Not slaw. Just cabbage. We ordered double cheeseburgers and they were a toddler size. Mcd single burgers are bigger. Ridiculous. That is just a few examples. I love every meal I didnt have to cook until we tried cook out. I would have rather had a soggy bowl of cereal. It would have tasted worlds better!

Food was mediocre. We are from out of town and expected it to be like our local Cookout. It definitely didn't measure up, but the worst part was the employee, arguing with us about whether he gave us slaw. Like, come on, just give us the slaw. We don't need to argue about it!
