The place is amazing and you get a lot of food. A little expensive but the food will keep you going back.

I finally returned to Famous Pizza after a years hiatus due to horrible service. It was so nice to see Tammy’s smiling face in the dining room. She was courteous, friendly, and got everything right! I will be definitely be returning!

Small place, nice employees, great pizza!
Disappointed. Placed an online order that was picked up by a coworker. Only got part of it (fries.) Couldn't go back to get the rest because I was working. Called and asked for refund, which they agreed to, which is why I'll at least give 2 stars.
Not happy though because they didn't give a full refund. I got back the general cost and tax of the entree, but not the portion of the tip that went towards it.
Basically, they gave themselves a 70-80% tip by keeping the part that went towards the entree. I guess they think a small order of fries (which were soggy and under salted) are just that good.
Maybe it sounds petty, but places that forget the main course don't deserve any tip. Certainly not an increased tip.

Summary: In my opinion, food was incredibly bland, low quality, and not nearly worth the value you pay.
First time ordering from this place since we wanted to give it a try. We ordered a large cheese pizza, calzone, chicken platter, and a meatball appetizer.
Pizza: Incredible bland tasting and not well executed on the cook. Frozen pizza would have had more flavor and probably better texture.
Chicken Plate: chicken tasted low quality like the stuff you find in the freezer section of your grocery store. The french fries looked and tasted like they were only partially cooked (white and limp).
Calzone: No flavor to it and texture was soft like it was finished in a microwave.
Meatballs: Bland again and it was mushy like it was sitting in sauce all day long.
In my opinion, I would not go here. The quality of the food was very subpar and the prices are on the higher side.

We have been looking for great pizza in the Inman/Wellford area. Famous pizza is as close we've found to a crisp but not too thin crust. We enjoyed the service as well as the pizza. We were surprised it was not hotter when brought to the table. Atmosphere is basic pizza restaurant. Cost was good low $30s for 2.

We ordered subs last night. Famous pizza was just not the same. I ordered an Italian sub and substituted the ham for turkey there was an up charge for the substitution no problem. My husband also ordered a sub. He had one piece of turkey on his sub and I had one piece of turkey and one piece of salami and they did not come with everything that the menu said would be on our subs. Unfortunately we waisted our money last night.

Ate here tonight with my son and we will definitely be coming back!! Everything is homemade and it shows!! From the garlic Parmesan wings with chunks of fresh cut garlic drenching perfectly cooked (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside) wing, to the chicken and homemade sauce on the chicken parm, everything was incredible!! The ranch and Caesar dressing are house made to perfection, and the Philly pizza was to die for! We left super stuffed with leftovers and that’s saying a lot with a teenage boy! I can’t vouch for the cannolis yet because I’m too full to try them but they look amazing and I am definitely looking forward to trying them later tonight! Tammy and Jaden were very attentive, friendly and super sweet too! My only regret is not trying this place sooner!!!
