M Fresh Asian Fusion

We came on a Thursday around 730. Greeted and seated right away. Waitress was very kind and helpful. We got sushi and hibachi. Both very good. Hibachi came with soup or salad. Plenty of left overs to bring home.

Absolutely Terrible Service – Don’t Waste Your Time. We ordered takeout from My Asian Fusion once before and really enjoyed the food, so we decided to dine in yesterday — me, my husband, and our toddler. Big mistake. When we arrived the hostess was taking a to-go order. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other family dining. After we were seated, no one came to our table. No introduction, no drinks, no service at all. The to-go order arrived picked up and left. The other table got their food, ate, and left — and we still hadn’t even been acknowledged despite us signaling and saying excuse me, which she also ignored. When I finally told the waitress (who came out only to clean the other table), her response was just, “Oh.” No apology. No attempt to help. Meanwhile: One staff member with blonde braids was behind the bar curlwd up oj a chair on her phone. The hostess who had a long brown ponytail was seated in the corner at the bar slumped over also on her phone. And the server with a blonde low ponytail was completely MIA, other than to take the order (saw her doing it when we arrived) and charge the other family and then again to clean the table. I would say she likely was also on her phone in the back. Even the other family told us outside that the service was so bad, they left a note saying “Stay off your phones” as their tip. The food might be decent, but it’s absolutely not worth being ignored like that. We won’t be back.

I went to Asian Fusion yesterday around 5:15 PM — me, my husband, and our toddler. The restaurant was nearly empty with only one other family of four dining in. The hostess was on the phone taking a to-go order when we arrived, which was fine. But after being seated, we were completely ignored.

No one introduced themselves, no one offered drinks, and no one came to check on us — nothing. The to-go order was picked up, the other family got their food and finished eating, and we were still just sitting there unseen. My son has autism and is fairly loud so there is just no way they didn't hear or see us, they were blatantly ignoring us. The server ignored us waving to her and saying excuse me, it was shocking.

When I finally told the waitress (who only came out to clean the other table) that no one had helped us, she simply said, “Oh.” No apology. No effort to fix it. Just truly didn't care.

As we left:

A girl with blonde braids was sitting behind the bar on her phone, hiding out curled up on a chair.

The hostess with a long brown ponytail was sitting in the corner at the bar slumped over looking half asleep, also on the phone.

The server with the blonde ponytail was nowhere to be found the entirety of us being there, other than when she quickly served the table, so she was presumably in the back on her phone too.

The other family told us in the parking lot that it was so bad they wrote on their tip slip: “Stay off your phone.” They truly couldn't believe how bad we were treated and I'm guessing their experience wasn't much better other than they actually got food.

The worst part is, we had ordered food here once before for takeout and really enjoyed it — which is why we decided to dine in. The environment is so pretty and frish feeling, But the food isn't worth it when the customer service is this terrible. Wett won’t be coming back.

If I were the manager or business owner, this would NOT be the kind of representation I’d want. Honestly, I’d fire every single one of them. The food may be decent, but it’s not worth being treated like you don’t exist. We won’t be back.

Always yummy food! One of my favorite places to eat. Got some good sushi and fried rice! Service is always good. Thanks for being awesome!

They are good but are thin.

In town to visit family and we went here for dinner. The bento box was awesome. Great place, will definitely come back the next time I’m in town again.

Their service is very slow for a resturant with almost no one in there. They have a ton of different sushi but can't make an easy crunchy crab roll correctly. The consistency was just mush with no cucumber, instead we got chewy seaweed. Most grocery stores have better sushi tbh.
Their website is also not updated. We decided to go because it said we could get lunch prices, but apparently they changed it to not include Saturday.
Wouldn't go back even if food was 70% off.

They were short-staffed, but Nadia was amazing. The Tonkotsu Fire ramen wasn't spicy, but it had great flavor. The shredded carrots in the sushi were extremely salty. The cashew chicken was very good. The spring rolls and dumplings were both very tasty. We just happened to see it while heading somewhere else and decided to give it a try. We're glad we did. We will likely ho back the next time we're in Spartanburg.

Food here is really good but the manager/owner got mad at me and my group when his waitress split the check improperly in their system. Kept telling us that we had too many people.. It was never a problem before.

I absolutely recommend this restaurant! Food is fresh and very good! Staff is on point! If you go ask for Gracie to serve you!
