If you’re looking for unseasoned and bland Mexican food, this is the place to go. I don’t prefer my food so spicy that it makes my nose run, but I do like some flavor. The cheese dip was cold and tasted like runny sour cream despite asking for spicy. My chicken nacho fajitas were made with shredded mozzarella cheese and no queso. No flavor whatsoever. Never experienced such at a Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are too sweet to drink and overpriced. I’ll stick to the local El Mex, Los Mex or La Cantina to have quality food for a reasonable price. It’s always intriguing when there are no Mexicans eating at a Mexican restaurant. Huge sign. The staff members were sweet and accommodating but the food just isn’t worth it. This was my third visit and same experience with bland food.

We went into Nixtamal in Boiling Springs for drinks and dinner. We had the table side guacamole, which was amazing, Margaritas and I had the ACP for dinner. Our server Cole was very attentive and did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.

1st and Last time here!!!! I’ve ate at Mexican restaurants my entire life and this is the LEAST amount of food I’ve ever received for the price I paid. My wife and I were both highly disappointed. Portion sizes were incredibly small. I could see the bottom of the pan through the thin amount of rice and BARELY any beans. The photo of the menu I saw said 2 chimichangas and we only got 1 and upon looking and their online order menu they have apparently changed it from 2 to 1 for the SAME PRICE!!!! I also paid $8 for the Large Cheese dip and got this little cup you see in the photos!!!!! On top of all that they tell me maybe 10-15 minutes and it was almost 30 and they were NOT busy at all. Definitely will be going to El Potosino, Burrito Hub or El Burrito from now on!!!!!

Pleasantly surprised. Wasn't expecting more than the typical strip mall tex mex. Some of the best prepared Mexican I've had in the Upstate. The table side prepared guacamole is a must have. Vegetables fresh and entrees prepared perfectly.

Food was good. It was disappointing that the staff would rather hang out in one g r out and chat with each other instead of taking care of the customers. Had this happen two different times. I may or not go back.

As a party of 5, we were seated quickly and our drinks came out fast as well. Service was decent, too. About everybody in my party ordered water and 2 of us asked for lemons, but we never received them. Everything else was fine except the ACP… 3 in my party ordered is and the meat-to-rice ratio was a little offset. Like cmon.. 🤣
