We used to love this place but now every time we go lately the waiter is rude. We kept getting talked over and not listened to. Didn't check on us until we finished our plates. I didn't have a refill at all. Once we asked for the check it was all happy smiles and suddenly they could hear us.
It's really ruining our visits.

Beautiful location, but the sushi was horrible. Instead of using slices of fish, they made what could best be described as patté and stuffed it in our sushi and smeared it on top. It made me feel like I was eating cat food, and I couldn’t eat more than one. There was stuff floating at the bottom of my tea, looked like what happens when you don’t clean an urn properly. After tip, I spent about $90. Waitress knew about the issue with the tea and us not liking our food, no discount was offered, no manager talked to us. I was very disappointed. I was hoping for much better quality of food

Me and my roommates have been coming to this location since it’s opening last year, and up until this visit we had no complaints. But today, our opinions have changed. The service was alright, but our food came out super slowly in the wrong order. I would understand this if it was busy, but we were one of three tables dining. We had asked for a side of wasabi at the very beginning of our meal and did not receive it until 30 minutes later. The sushi roll I received was a tempura fried one, which no where on the menu it said it was tempura. When I brought this to the servers attention, he acted like we were the dumb ones and made us pay for the incorrect sushi. On top of it all, the quality of food has severely decreased. Everything tasted a week old and fishy, including the entree’s. It is severely disappointing and we will not be returning. I hope this restaurant realizes its short comings and fixes our communities criticisms.

Sushi Kingdom in Greenville is way better!!!
This is not worth it .
The max amount of sashimi you can eat is 10 per person and the max for tuna Tataki is 3.
At Sushi Kingdom that number is 15 and unlimited for Tataki.
Also the steak was terrible, the Calamari tasted like Chlorine and the Tataki was also terrible same with the Jalapeno tuna.
Also most of the rolls taste horrible. The portion for ice cream is extremely small.
The service was also terrible, they took forever to take our used plates.
The owner of this place owns Japan house as well and I can tell you he is very very stingy .
This place needs to be redone .

The concept of this restaurant is actually sort of genius. THE EXECUTION, is awful. Our server was a nice young lady but was very oblivious and forgetful. She was busy entertaining the table next to us (which seemed to be one of their employees). Drinks weren’t filled unless asked for.(had to ask a couple of times). The kitchen was the real disaster. We waited for a side of rice, shrimp, and vegetables for over an hour. Our server then told us that there was a printer issue and that our order hadn’t been seen by the kitchen. I believe she did not put our order in as she couldn’t repeat our order back to us to ensure we had ordered.

It’s a shame that it is all chaos. The food was half decent but not worth all the bs it comes with. I would just go over to volcano Korean bbq hotpot for a MUCH better dining experience that is all you can eat for a similar price. M fresh Asian fusion is also a better option for similar price.

The service was okay. The waitress was very friendly but really slow. The steak fried rice was not my favorite. Fuji is better. Their hibachi steak on the other hand was amazing. The general chicken was also very good. The sexy roll was my favorite sushi roll by far.

Eaten here twice now. First time we ordered off the menu, it was good, sushi rolls decent, service very slow. Tried them again yesterday, no wait, clean restaurant, decided to order the AYCE so we could try a variety of rolls for $28/person. First the waiter (Decky or Deki?) was verrrry rude. Like, he hates his life and our presence annoyed him. Probably the worst waiter I've ever had. The first round of apps and salads were good, came quickly and then the wait. We waited 30 mins for our first roll. Then ordered a few more items and they came out fine, last roll took ONE HOUR to be brought to us. When my husband asked about it, his response was "would you like something else" so I replied with, yes the two rolls we ordered an hour ago please. He never once filled our waters until we asked, one napkin per person, asked for more, another 10-15 min wait and asked again. We are NOT that couple that complains, things happen and we get it, off days happen, but after two hours we were done. They put a 2 hour cap on the AYCE which I get but not really fair if it takes an hour per roll. Feels intentional. Bottom line is - we went on a random weekday evening and had horrible service and average food for $75 for two people. Won't go again. Way better options out there. Can't see this restaurant lasting if this continues.

Let me start by saying i do not normally leave reviews good or bad. Just dont think its worth the time most of the time. But this is worth mentioning.

This was the second time my wife and I dined here. The first time was several months ago and was pretty good so we decided we'd try it again for our anniversary yesterday, 10/9. This time it was aweful. From our waiter, "Decky", who didn't seem to care at all about us and basically acted as if he hated the world, to the bland tasting sushi and worst of all, the wait to get orders once they were placed, it was the worst experience at a restaurant we have had in a very long time.

We love sushi. We have tried many establishments across NC and SC to find good ones. This one is not a good one.

Tips for the owners:

Learn how to make a spicy tuna roll that is actually spicy - at least a little bit. What I was served tasted like a roll I could buy at Publix. It was 80% crunchy tempura flakes and just enough tuna to make it look red with absolutely no heat in it at all. Bland. If you can't make this sushi staple there is a problem with you chefs.

Fire the server named Decky. He does not care about your establishment or your customers. It took us asking three times for extra napkins and 40 min later he brought some just as our last rolls were being brought. Customers do not like to have dirty hands all dinner long. He also did not refill our drinks (ie water and diet coke) until asked twice and a half hour had past.

Also, Do not make your customers wait an HOUR for two mediocur sushi rolls without explaination from your wait staff of some sort. This was beyond ridiculous. If you customer has to ask where their food is you've blown it.

Lastly, you need less tables as you don't have the space to cram in the people you do. We couldn't even walk down the isle between the tables without bumping the elbows of other patrons sitting at tables. You had placed a baby high chair in the middle of the isle with a baby in it that also made it so tight we had to turn sideways to get between it and the table across the isle. Sometimes cramming in too many people at once is too big of a job to handle and you suffer because of it. What if there had been an emergency and the building had to be evacuated quickly. That baby would have been trampled.

You guys have some serious managerial issues to fix before we will come back if ever.

AYCE Sushi was worth the stop on the way home from Atlanta. Soups, apps, rolls, were all excellent. My sons were in a Sushi coma by the time we left. Sweet attentive server was a bonus.

Absolutely awesome! Food is great, choices are wonderful, and price is really good for what they offer! Keep in mind, their lunch menu is a bit different from their dinner and weekends menus in food and prices. They both good though! And their stuff doing their best to provide an excellent service! We have been there about 4 times now and it is consistently great!
