I just took a friend here because I had the best experience in the past great food etc. but the lady today that took your order was so rude I did not even order. I love supporting local businesses but when you are not customer friendly I will not spend my money. Very sad.

Ernest get rid of that dread headed woman!I don’t know who she is to you but I have personally experienced her no personality, attitude having, and rudeness to customers for no reason. We ate inside which was so unbearably hot I tried to hurry just to leave.we was only there long enough to eat and watched a customer come back in and say his fries were soggy and he wanted crispy fries, instead of just making him new fries she ran her mouth and he ended up walking out and slamming the door.I have been a faithful customer for 15 years and just read reviews and looks like over 2 years of complaints on this lady and all you did was move her from Asheville hwy to boiling springs!I will not eat at either location again until you personally respond to this review and let me know that she is fired, you need to wise up this lady is going to ruin your business if it ain’t already, keep her and you might as well shut it down

fries were VERY undercooked. asked for new ones and the lady at the front said it would be $3. the fries were so yellow and mushy worst fries i’ve ever had paid $16 for a philly cheese steak and a small fry.
the lady was very rude and had an attitude for no reason we were being as sweet as possible. i don’t recommend this place at all.

Lady working the front counter was extremely rude. She must be the owner if she’s still working there after all these bad reviews

Passed through here a while back and wanted to share the positive experience I had. This place is called “The Real Deal” and it did not disappoint.I don’t feel that I ever had an authentic cheesesteak before until I stopped in. I asked Dana to prepare a sandwich the way she would eat it, to make sure I had a genuine experience. Her typical way of preparing a cheesesteak is with a prime cut of meat, finely chopped, with some onions and seasoning, and provolone or American cheese. The food was prepared quickly, with fresh ingredients.Because it’s not overloaded with toppings, you can really savor the flavors of the meat, cheese, bread, and seasonings. It’s a filling meal that doesn’t feel too heavy, greasy, or unhealthy because it’s prepared with care and top-notch ingredients.I order a 6” lunch special with fries and a soda, and it was reasonably priced compared to all the costly junk fast food that’s out there these days.If you check their Facebook, you can see that the menu is filled with a lot of offerings to satisfy any palate, and I’m positive they’ll all be equally as good.Stop in for a filling, tasty, and healthy lunch prepared with TLC by Dana - you won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here for quite a few years now. My mom was born and raised in Philly an I was born right over the Delaware in Jersey but spent a lot of my time in Philly, and have settled in here for about 10 years now. My husband is from down here and I have a joke with him
every time I see “Philly cheesesteak” anywhere down here I say to him, “oh look, the Philly plate of disappointment” ??? cuz the “cheesesteaks” down here a JOKE. But this is quite literally THE REAL DEAL. They gave it the perfect name and IDC how expensive it is I will keep coming back every once in a while to get a taste of home. The owner is a great guy, nice to talk to. My only complaint is that he gets new cashiers every few months. Sometimes they are rude, sometimes they don’t know what they are talking about, it’s always somethin! I just wish he could find some good front counter help like up north where the people see your phone number and answer the phone “the usual?” You know what I’m sayin? It would be 5 stars to me then.

My Humble Southern Opinion w/Lou

Love the food but they NEVER answer the phone for lunch orders to be placed.

Large portions of well seasoned flavorable meats served with a Real Deal downhome Philadelphia attitude. The owner loves to chop it up so be prepared for great conversation. Hell, I'm headed there right nah!?
