Everything was great except for part of the food!!! I ordered a flounder fillet plate with loaded baked potato!!!The loaded baked potato and hush puppies were absolutely delicious!!!The flounder needed to be a little crisper and the slaw was not good at all.I will go back and give it another try in a few months!!!
They have changed the breading on the shrimp. It was a lightly seasoned dry dusting that made the shrimp so good. THIS breading is a wet batter which is thick and holds oil and now the shrimp is heavily greasy. They also discontinued the unique and delicious pickles they served for years. Heck, I came sometimes craving those pickles. They are also buying a different kind of shrimp which is subpar to what they used to serve. Won't be back soon unless they tell me they went...
Service was poor. Had to ask for everything and the restaurant was not very full at all. Also, some of the food on the buffet was almost cold. The cobbler was fair. I did enjoy the boiled shrimp and the salad bar. However the only option for soup was chicken stew and it was very low.
