We visited from Hickory NC, the has is phenomenal absolutely worth the 2 hour drive!!!!! The owners are super nice and make you feel like old friends. The staff is welcoming and helpful!!! I only wish they had one in Hickory!!!!! Looking forward to our next visit! Take the chance and go they are worth it!!!!!

Stopped at their food truck for BBQ sandwich w/slaw, mac and cheese side. Great food. I might have to try the original restaurant in Buffalo now. Seems like a worthwhile drive. The side of mac and cheese was huge. Good deal.

If you’re a local, then you already know how good Midway BBQ is. If you’re traveling through the little town of Buffalo, then you HAVE to stop by & eat at Midway! Known for their hash & chicken stew, their daily meat & 3 plates are the best around as well. Jay & his crew are a staple in the community. Save room for the banana pudding!!

I just wanted to say this is truly a great restaurant. I placed my first online order and was missing one small item when I got home. I emailed the restaurant to let them know and within five minutes I received a call from them apologizing and offering to deliver the item to me. I told him not to worry about, it’s definitely not worth all that trouble. Folks, I’m 63 years old and you just don’t find this kind of generosity and loyalty to customers in today’s world. Midway BBQ is truly an exceptional restaurant, not only with top-notch people, but also terrific food. I thank them for their kindness and will definitely be returning soon for more delicious food.

The atmosphere is what you would expect for BBQ. The tea was really sweet. The cornbread was spongy like cake. The pulled pork did need sauce. The Coleslaw was okay, not great. Reasonably priced for what you get.
