I just wanted to say this is truly a great restaurant. I placed my first online order and was missing one small item when I got home. I emailed the restaurant to let them know and within five minutes I received a call from them apologizing and offering to deliver the item to me. I told him not to worry about, it’s definitely not worth all that trouble. Folks, I’m 63 years old and you just don’t find this kind of generosity and loyalty to customers in today’s world. Midway BBQ is truly an exceptional restaurant, not only with top-notch people, but also terrific food. I thank them for their kindness and will definitely be returning soon for more delicious food.

The atmosphere is what you would expect for BBQ. The tea was really sweet. The cornbread was spongy like cake. The pulled pork did need sauce. The Coleslaw was okay, not great. Reasonably priced for what you get.

We ate lunch here today, and it is some pretty amazing BBQ seemingly in the middle of nowhere. We've been here a few times in the past, and we've never had a bad experience at all. It does get crowded, so be prepared for a little bit of a wait.

What I ordered was good. The only service you receive is the people that hand you your food and take your order. It is self service drinks and trash disposal. The atmosphere is similar to that of a cafeteria. Sit at a shared table and do your thing. Not mocking the place just reporting what I observed as a first time patron.

The parking lot was PACKED when i arrived & as soon as I walked in, I understood why. The service was extremely friendly & fast, but the BBQ... was OUT of this world- i got the pulled pork, green beans, sweet potato crunch, mac n cheese & egg custard. I have not one single complaint- truly some of the best BBQ I have had since I moved down South. A little bit of a drive from GVL/Greer, but so worth it. 10/10.
The hash sandwich was very tasteless and the bun was soggy! The hash had no flavor or seasoning! The presentation of the hash was gross, it looked like dog food! Well, dog food looks meatier than the hash! I have not eaten at Midway BBQ for over 7yrs however driving thru Boiling Springs, I saw the food truck at Tractor Supply! I made a U-turn with excitement to get a hash sandwich! I wish I had continued driving because I was very disappointed! What happened! Has Midway changed ingredients or what?! I am sure it will probably be 7 years plus before I eat at Midway BBQ again! Good Luck!

A childhood favorite. That HASH is a MUST! If you are ever traveling through Union, SC, do NOT bypass this hidden gem.
My husband and I are here visiting from Charlotte. A good friend of ours recommended this place. The food was delicious! I recommend trying the beef hash and sweet potato casserole. The service was fast and friendly too! Will definitely be back each time we visit
