Best coffee I've had in South Carolina so far. Best "vibe" of any place I've been so far to do school work. I've gone to Columbia as well... where I've gone does not compare to this amazing place. Lady working today was awesome as well. I'll be back for sure.

A delightful coffee shop and book shop. We stopped in and had a nice relaxing coffee, chatted with some folk, looked at the books (a friend found one he wanted to get as a gift for someone) and I also enjoyed the cookies. Its a charming environment and i recommend it to those who want more charm than those chain coffee places offer.

My kids love smoothies, so when I don't have time to make them at home Books on Broad is our go to. And they have a good little kids corner while we wait.

Pretty sad when I walk into a bookstore, which I absolutely was looking forward to going to, and was never even acknowledged by worker, after browsing in store for about half an hour...and was the only one in the store. I left and did business in other spots in Camden.

Years of living in Camden and I've never had worse service. Came in by a clients invitation and was not acknowledged at all. 3 girls sat and trashed another local store loudly. When I asked for books about weddings I was treated rudely as if I was interrupting their conversation and told no books at all about weddings or anything like that. Then promptly returning to her conversation she mocked my request, laughing with her friends while I was in earshot. I asked about coffee and they told me the girl working in there is "on break". So no coffee... and she didn't return for more than 40 minutes I was there.
To know the owner, is a joy. Truly an asset to our town. But the management has allowed ugly, rude teen girls to take over and honestly it's a reputation Im not paying for.
I love small business but there's better coffee down the street and Amazon has better prices on books. At least you won't feel bullied by the staff.....

Nice local book store and coffee shop. I ordered an Americano and the Coffee was delicious and the book store made for a nice relaxing place to enjoy it. Seemed to be a pretty popular place in town with quite a few people in the shop while I was there. Still very peaceful with different rooms to sit and read a book and enjoy your coffee. Definitely recommend
Very cute coffee and book shop. Tried their hazelnut latte and it was perfectly to my taste. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, the books are both new and used and you can purchase any of them, you can do some work or just hang out there and read. It is out of the movies cute and inspiring. It will definitely turn into a regular stop.
