I ordered the Sam's Special with truffle fries last night. The steak arrived in slices! I normally prefer my steak to arrive whole and it was supposed to be 8oz. It was sliced like it was to be placed on top of a salad or in a burrito and no way it was 8oz. It appeared to be maybe 1/8" thick - it was very thin - and was cooked to the correct temperature, but had zero flavor. I didn't send the steak back, but wish I had. Server was decent, but water glasses were completely empty before they were refilled. We won't return anytime soon - which is disappointing.

Food was outstanding and service was perfect. Gentlemen that waited on us could not have been friendlier and served us well. I had salmon and soup of day and was very good. Atmosphere was great for conversation.

We have not been here since August of 2019 due to a bad experince. Back then I had ordered a veal dish and was given Cod. When correct dish came out it was minus the sides that go with it and wasn't good. Four years later we gave them another chance. We had removed another local place due to serious issues and gave Sam Kendall's another shot. Glad we did. Service was very good and food was as well. I had blackened sword fish which I was happy with and wife was happy with what she had as well. We arrived around 5PM on a Friday and was promptly seated. When we left it was pretty full. We will go back!

Shannon is a great server. She was very in tuned and intuitive. She notice I ordered no bacon on my potato and when my salad came out she instinctively knew not to have bacon on my salad since I forgot to tell her no bacon on it as well.

After living in Camden for almost two years finally got to SK. Starting with salads- reddish oxidized lettuce overall did not taste fresh , app was stuffed mushrooms which consisted of a metal dish with reservoirs and mushroom at the bottom then a shrimp( supposed to be crab as well, although it is undetectable) The dish was then topped off with what seemed like cheddar cheese. The cheese cooled and coagulated and it was not a manageable dish, also had an ‘off’ Flavor. Now for the good, the service suggested the specials I had the haddock it was excellent. The mashed potatoes on the side were also not bad at all. My son got the mahi-mahi with the tropical salsa, and it was also good for dessert we had crème brûlée, and it was meh.. Man, I do not like writing reviews like this, it really pains me. I feel I need to be honest, however. This is based on one trip, so take that into consideration, the service was excellent BTW.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered Tomato Basil Crab Soup and Salad and she had a salad with chicken. We split a piece of Key Lime pie for desert. All was fresh and very tasty. We had the bar tender as our server and she was friendly and efficient! They serve a variety of drinks including alcoholic libations!

Food was excellent , ambiance was wonderful, lovely interaction with Bob, the waiter, and with the manager. The tomato basil crab bisque, the Fontina Pork Chop, the Montego Chicken, and then the grasshopper dessert—Soooo good, every bite of every dish! We highly recommend Sam Kendall’s!

Went to Sammys for what was essentially a family reunion with family I hadnt seen I was 9 years old. Sarah was our server and she was super knowledgeable with all the menu items, like soup of the day, and catch of the day. I absolutely loved Sarah's attention to detail and she kept up with my dad's jokes ❤️ Wonderful time

While the service was good the food was less Than satisfactory and edible. The oysters Rockefeller were Raw And cold and the beed tenderloin was mediocre, the night was topped off with a chocolate martini served in a white wine glass. Truly disappointing.

I had the Ruben sandwich, my friend had a cup of crab bisque soup and a sandwich. Everything was good and came out hot and pretty quickly too. Nice service. Reasonable prices.

I moved to Camden in December and have enjoyed lunch weekly at several local restaurants but those that have become favorites are closed on Monday. Today, I went online looking for a place to eat and discovered Broad Street Lunch. The menu included Jamaican food which enticed me. Upon arriving, I learned that the Jamaican addition was recent and begun by a woman who joined their staff who was raised in Jamaica. I ordered jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and peas. It was all tasty. Instead of dessert, I ordered fried plantains. I got to meet Joan the cook, who prepared all that I ate. So glad that I made the visit.

Excellent food and great vibe for any age. We had an excellent waitress which highly recommended cedar plank salmon and we all 4 ordered and we were happy! Excellent Caesar salad too!

Our food was delicious! We were offered a taste of the oxtail- and it was amazing! Exceeded all of our expectations! The oxtail and jerk chicken both incredible! Staff was so friendly and kind!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant, and we all thought the food excellent as we dined outside on the front terrace. My crab cakes were delicious, my husband loved his oysters, and our friends thought the fresh Mahi delicious. This was definitely the best restaurant we found in Camden.
