Worst ribeye steak i ever ate. Mac and cheese seemed to be heated up left overs from a day or 2 ago. Baked potato was good. Service was excellent. Wendy was a very good waitress.

This restaurant has a C rating and we ate there anyway. That was a mistake. I ordered a strawberry salad with chicken and it came without a single strawberry. The server did bring me some when I asked about it. The chicken was very chewy and didn’t taste good. The place is not inviting. I won’t be eating there again. Fatz used to be a good chain. I guess this is why most are no longer open.

The “C” rating should have been our first clue. I’ve seen their ratings go from C to A back to C. The bread bites were still raw in the center. Their fryer was down, so no fried shrimp. Food Portions seem to be shrinking. The music was so loud, you couldn’t conduct our business meeting. Service was good, kitchen is still slow. Sorry Fatz, I probably won’t be back.

Lunch was delicious. Our calabash chicken wrap was nicely prepared. Delicious tomato basil soup. Ample portions. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous. I would definitely come back. Music too loud ... made conversation difficult.

The chicken strips were bad. Terrible smell and taste. I will never eat at fatz in Camden again. They have a C on the door. They should have had a F. I told the waitress the should check the chicken before they serve it to anyone else.

Met my family here for lunch. They had a C food grade rating with the statement "needs significant improvement". My wife and I chose not to eat and went somewhere else after visiting family. The food my family ordered did not look appetizing. Our server was kind, but she forgot to bring us water for about 15 minutes. The atmosphere was a bit dingy and the staff seemed to be stretched thin. Would not return or suggest anyone visit this Fatz until their food grade is an A.

Never again! Worst place I have ever eaten. This is a picture of the chicken fried steak I was served. It was uneatable. Deep fried to a crisp. The manager cooked me a second one, and it too was very overcooked. The garlic mashed potatoes were unseasoned and tasted instant. The okra was cooked to perfection. How can one thing be so great and the rest just terrible. We won't be back . One star because the service was very good.

Fatz used to be dependable. This time, 3 servers. 4 tables. Took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. We asked about the lunch menu since it was now 1:59. We were assured absolutely, lunch menu price is what we would be charged. Drinks took another 10 minutes. One of our meals was wrong, a wrap of all things. 20 minutes later, We STILL do not have that meal. Check came, had to get that fixed. All in all, with the C on the door (server claimed it was a machine malfunction. Inspections are public, they've had on and off C ratings since July of 2022 for improper food temp storage and various other issues) and then bad service, we won't be back. They claim one cook but then the manager was back there as well. Place needs a whole new overhaul including staff, apparently management included.

Review: Fatz in CamdenI recently had the pleasure of dining at Fatz in Camden, and I must say, it was an overall enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. They have something for everyone. The menu includes a range of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and mouthwatering entrees to choose from. One of the highlights of my visit was the quality of the food. The dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and presented beautifully. The portions were generous, The ribs were tender and succulent, falling right off the bone. The service at Fatz was outstanding. Great food and service! Prices seem a little high but the portions we all got were large and cooked perfect!

We stopped in to try Fatz today. The waiter was not very attentive the food was horrible. I order chicken fried chicken which was supposed to come on er Mac and cheese. What I received was Country Fried Steak with no Mac and cheese. When I brought it to the waiters attention that this was not what I ordered he told me that it is Chicken. The fried Okra was greasy. I had to ask for rolls which came out greasy and the grease they are using needs to be changed. Everything tasted old. We ordered the Firecracker sticks as an appetizer and they were very greasy.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Floor needed a good cleaning. My spouse steak knife had food on it prior yo use. Ribs, steak shrimp, okra were tasty, however the chicken and dumplings were missing the dumplins. It was mainly peas, cream sauce and a few bites of chicken. The portion size was not of value. I was quite disappointed. The Mountain Dew tasted odd, even after sending it back for another. The bread balls were greasy. Collards lacked flavor and the portion size was minimal compared to pricing. On to dessert. The peach cobbler lacked flavor and was not cooked completely. It was not edible. We ordered several portions, and none were edible. Luckily they were taken off our bill. My spouse found several HUGE ice chips in the ice cream. It was so bad that we declined taking home the ice cream offered to us. I really wanted to like our visit, but the quality of our meal was not acceptable, nor was the lack of cleanliness.

I understand being shorthanded and having patience. It took 40 mins to get our drinks. Our waitress was the bartender who ran between tables and the bar so we extended grace knowing she was working her butt off. I asked the host for kids menu and was told wrongly that there was none. They were out of ground beef, broccoli, green beans and coleslaw. Appetizer never showed up, ordered two soups and only rec'd one, asked for dry ribs with sauce on the side and they came covered in sauce. The mashed potatoes were like a hard ball. My kids actually threw it back and forth to each other. Calabash chicken was dry and tasted like burnt pepper. The chicken fried steak was way overcooked and had very little gravy on it.The guests at the table next to us left with their plates uneaten. We spent $150+ for nasty food and bad service. We went thru McDonald's drive thru on the way home.We had stopped going to Fatz before the pandemic because of the same issues. Read reviews that it was under new management and improved so we gave it another chance. They've lost us as customers for good now.Photos of chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, My kid holding the mashed potatoes and the food left behind from the guests next to us.

They didn't have any lights in the section that we were sitting in. Actually when asked the waiter said the people hadn't come to put the light bulbs in yet. Then we ordered ribs with sides my son ordered corn and green beans. And I ordered green beans and a baked potato. A few minutes later the waitress came back and says we don't have any green beans. Then she comes to the table and says I'm sorry but we're out of cream for your coffee. So I asked her to bring some milk.On a good note the ribs are very tasty.I almost forgot, the host who seeded us kept running his fingers through his long hair. And he also had on very baggy dirty looking jeans. Not a very good representation of the restaurant.
