All I can say is “Wow!!”🤩 Sam Kendall’s owes us nothing! They accommodated our party of 30+ guests with professionalism, care, and patience. Our 3 servers were amazing and very accommodating. Sam, the manager, was very understanding and made sure that our first experience there was one to remember! Not only was the staff awesome, the food was AMAZING! Not one single complaint from any of us (everything had so much flavor)! The atmosphere was just right (intimate) to host my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you for an amazing night!

Our family used to love this place. Friday dinner was bad definitely lost flavor and consistency. Ribeyes look bought from walmart and sold way over priced. Tough. Parking lot and hallway reeks like marijuana. My daughter saw the kitchen staff pouring themselves shots and having a better time than paying customers. Needs some serious change in employment.
This is my favorite restaurant in Camden! It has a cozy vibe and the Food!!! We have eaten there many times and it never disappoints. We ordered the seafood pasta and it is beyond delicious! The crusty bread with olive oil was yummy also. Some of my other favorites are the grilled chicken sandwich with pesto mayo and the open face steak sandwich if you want a little lighter fare. Also, the stuffed mushrooms are so wonderful as well. I'm not sure if they still have it but sometimes they offer the "seafood stack" which is huge & totally delish!
My husband and I arrived for dinner at 5:30 on a Friday night. Without a reservation, I was afraid we would not be eating there, but we were taken to a seat right away. Our waitress, Kathryn, was friendly, attentive and went the extra mile with our particular requests. My husband and I both ordered the Seafood Pasta. Oh, it is heavenly! Shrimp, scallops and pieces of lobster covering spaghetti pasta, all nestled in a creamy sauce. The fresh bread delivered while we waited on our food was so good, especially when dipped in the oil, balsamic vinegar and spices. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a “step up” from the usual. The prices are a little higher than some people are comfortable with, but I think the atmosphere, service and food quality are worth the price. Try it for a birthday or anniversary; you won’t regret it.
Lovely place for dinner. Our server Leila was fabulous. The food was perfect. ahi tuna, crab cakes, ceasar salad w/lobster and filet mignon. Thankyou to the hostess for squeezing us in. Will definitely make it a regular stop.

We had to wait quite a while and then everything came at once . Bread salad then 10 seconds later our plates. Chicken was excellent the steak was taken home for the neighbors pig. Lo g waits on butter then drinks and sauce. I can go somewhere else and spend 75.00 and get good food and sevice

We’ve dined there twice. The indoor dining was nice and we enjoyed the booths. We were all pleased with our lunch selection of meals. The service was great! The outdoor dining last week Saturday was horrible with flys!!
Sam Kendall's is an enigma... an attractive restaurant in downtown Camden with excellent service and good food, but with one fatal flaw. The men's room was filthy and stunk so badly that a day later I still can't get the smell out of my nose! I thought it smelled like a thousand years of urine soaked into everything, but my brother-in-law voted for raw sewage. Whatever the source it ruined what was otherwise a most pleasant and enjoyable dinner. Once I'd stuck my nose in the men's room - no way could a human being survive the smell long enough to actually use the facilities- the meal was over. I couldn't stop thinking - if the men's room is that dirty what is the kitchen like? Bottom line... attractive furnishings, tasty food, and good service are great, but in a restaurant cleanliness is king!
My wife and I have eaten at both locations. We believe the food is the best around and the staff is always helpful and courteous. They offer a fair price for the best food around. We love this place.
