Each trip to the buffet OH MAN ! I could eat here everyday Vegetables of all kinds on display Seasoned just right for me today
CATFISH FILLETS were the BEST I really put them to the test They were great , fried just right I could have eaten them all night
The waitress was smiling and kind Waiting on out table , never got behind FRESH SWEET TEA , which was sublime I was glad, there was no line
The next time you are out for lunch Why not go ahead and try this bunch The food was NOT greasy, it was just right Try it for yourself, it will be a delight !!!

I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich and Sweet Potato Raw Fries. 10/10 some of the best chicken I had on a sandwich. My dad had the buffet. His only complaint is that both the chicken and the BBQ were dry on the buffet. Other than that we had a very good time here yesterday. We will definitely return in the future.

My parents have been coming with their church for a few months and although they are new to the community the wonderful people here have made a huge impact on their lives. If you’re anywhere near Cassatt, SC, do yourself a favor and stop by Highway 1 Cafe for breakfast—you won’t regret it! This little roadside gem serves up some of the best Southern breakfast I’ve ever had.
From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, just the kind of place you’d expect to find real, down-home cooking—and they deliver.
Let’s talk about the biscuits. Oh my word—flaky, buttery, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. Whether you get them with sausage gravy, as part of a breakfast sandwich, or just on their own with a little jam, they’re worth the trip alone. I’d drive out of my way just for those biscuits!
The rest of the breakfast menu is just as impressive—fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, golden hash browns, and fresh coffee that’s always hot. Everything was cooked to perfection and served with a smile.

The food was the issue. 30 for a burger with bacon and with fries without anyone in this place. They forgot the bacon and the fries were barely cooked. Sure they gave it to me free but it wasted more time than I had for lunch. If you go there get the buffet at least you won't be there for half hour for a burger. Will not return. Sorry for the bad review but yall should do a better job.

I love this place. We've gone only four times because of the distance. The food is delicious, the service however has never been good. One server even told us the service was a little scattered because of the partying the night before which was the fourth of July. Our original server never came back after we asked for tarter sauce. We flagged down another server for the condiment that we did finally receive half way through our fish. We felt forgotten but had really good food.
