La Estrella is an absolute gem! The fajitas and tacos were bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and tasted so authentic. The salsa and chips were fresh, with just the right kick. You can tell everything is made with quality and care. The ambiance of the grocery and restaurant adds to the experience—it’s like a little piece of Mexico right in town. Highly recommend La Estrella for anyone craving genuine, delicious Mexican food!

If you're looking for a Mexican meat market that has great marinade and seasoning, then this is your place! Meat prices are little higher than what I'm used to, but it's still worth it. They have vegetables and canned goods as well. There's even a restaurant connected to the store. I'd say they just need to add a little bit more lights, it's dark in some areas.

It's a little taqueria inside a small store. The tacos are good. We go on taco Tuesday where they are $1.50 for tacos. I like when they use 2 tortillas rather than one. The carnitas are good. I like those the best. The chicken is good as well. My husband generally get pastor and asada which he likes. The shrimp tacos are good, but not part of taco Tuesday. We come maybe 2 times a month. I love the tortilla chops. They male them there and so good.

As a restaurant it's pretty good. Great good. As a market it's a little meh. Good meat counter and some of the best Queso Cinco I've had.

I hope you continue with the same season, greetings from Guadalajara, your friend Aguayo, star chef ⭐
Don’t let to outside fool you… this is a gem that is well worth the quick detour off of I-26. Authentic and delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Forget fast food… the freeway sucks, so stop in, grab some REAL food and you’ll back on the road in no time, but you won’t be hangry anymore!
