I eat lunch here regularly. The food, service, and atmosphere are always great. The food is always fresh, and has slight variations from day to day. (It does come out of a frozen package.) I feel welcomed by the staff, most of whom have worked here for years.
This will be my go to Mexican Restaurant. The food is good, serving sizes are plentiful and the food servers are nice. They have a nice atmosphere and are never too overly crowded. I have eaten here 6 times, and each time I have received the same good service and food quality.

Idk if it was the time of day my wife and I went or something else but. We had a very mediocre experience compared to other Monterey's locations. I'm not trying to be too harsh, might have just been an off time to be there. I'll update this review if we go back
