Love the food!!! Food has definitely gotten better than what it was for a while. Service was great even though it was busy! Reasonable prices. *added 03/02/24 - If you become a regular customer, the wait staff will remember you and your usuals that you always order each time you come in!!! Love the ladies that make that extra effort!*

Great food. My favorite is the salmon salad.

No issues with the food at all, but service was seriously lacking. I patronized them three times during a week as part of different size parties. The room not tables were set up at the time of the reservations, so tables and left cluttered during half of our dinner. Additionally, there was only one server for each of the large groups, even one with more than 35 patrons. Considering that they added 18 percent tip, there was no incentive for them to do better. The service ruined one event and limited my enjoyment of the other. Totally terrible.

Never been disappointed at this restaurant.Food is always great. Wait staff is great.Only problem we have to drive a hour and a half to enjoy the food. Need them to put one of these restaurants in the Lowcountry. Moncks Corner, Goose Creek, Summerville, St. George all would be good locations. Also, wish it was easier accessible for handicap people. The handicap ramp is always from the door and is not very convenient for someone with mobility issues.

Well I was really impressed. I could have sworn I ate here years ago, and thought it was just okay, perhaps that was a different restaurant. I know this place has been a few different things through the years. I can recall eating here when it was the Western Steer back in the 80s. The place seemed clean, and welcoming. My folks were wanting seafood, and we thought we'd give this place a shot. We got there early so it was not crowded, but by the time we left the place was really hopping. There are a lot of specials, including daily specials and lunch specials. Most everything leans a little toward fried seafood, but there are options for broiled or grilled. Also plenty of non seafood options like steaks, burgers, or chicken. I had the catfish fillet and I was really impressed. It was salt and peppered and delicious. The baby shrimp were fine, and the fried okra was tasty. They have these hushpuppies that look like onion rings, and taste almost like a donut, with honey butter for dipping. I think everyone at the table got shrimp and fish so I can't speak to the variety of the food. My wife, the vegetarian was able to get several sides, and she was satisfied with them. The also have some decent appetizers at good prices. We had the blooming onion, and no one at the table had any complaints. The waitress was attentive and very friendly. She even brought my mom a slice of cheesecake for her 82nd birthday.

Hair was in my food and the manager declined to speak to me. I was told that it was just hair and it wasn't a big deal to complain about to be honest I think I was because I'm African American. Super unprofessional and the location was not clean at all I wouldn't recommend this place for my dog to eat from.
