Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had

The place was filthy when we walked in. The food tastes old. The ribs were hard and not tender at all. Nothing was good. They need to revamp and learn how to cook Chinese food. Period. 1/5 I give it. Panda Express is better and I hate that place.I wouldn’t feed a homeless person that food. It’s was like rotten dog food. Please don’t eat there.

Very cool unprofessional when she pick up the phone. Never said thank you for calling teapot. Just hello. They need better customer service.
I totally agree with previous posters. Food was old, dried out and obviously reheated. Something is wrong here. They have either given up or turned it over to people who don’t care. Even the individually wrapped fortune cookies were stale. How does that even happen?

Ordered 2 plates of chicken fried rice and wings. Both orders were not fresh, the chicken tasted old, and was recooked after sitting for quite some time. The rice was hot but old as if it had been sitting.
When I called to give constructive criticism to hopefully eliminate this from happening to other customers, the manager on duty was very defensive. He stated that he has been cooking for over 21 years and denied that the food was not fresh. The food is currently in the trashcan as it was not edible.
Highly recommend not eating or patronizing this establishment.

The reviews scared me, but you know what? The food was good and the guys at the counter were friendly. No complaints, and will be back for another quick lunch.

A hidden gem right out in the open, so happy I was told about teapot it's always good filling and affordable. The large specials are easily food for two meals. Everyone there cares a lot about the food and their jobs which is more than I can say about many other places. Thank you.

The cashier seemed a bit out of it. He didn’t look in my direction when I entered. I had to get right in front of him and say Hello! My sesame chicken was very overcooked and hard. The egg rolls were okay. I won’t be returning.

Can't order sesame chicken AND lo mein online without ordering two comepeltely separate meals that end up being nearly $30. You can only choose rice as the option with the chicken.
The lunch I had today was horrible. Tea Pot used to be good a few years back so I thought I would try again. I had a to go order. When you arrive there to get the food, the place smells like an old, musty basement and that is exactly how the food tastes. I ordered hot and sour soup and received won ton. The won tons were way too big and were doughy and raw inside and the filling was not good. The broth was oily and flavorless and the fried won tons crisps to put in the soup were stale. The rice was dry and the meat and vegetables had barely any sauce. The food quality was disappointing; was leary of eating it..save your money and eat elsewhere. I ended up throwing the food away.

The employees seem to be intoxicated. Seems like everyone is drinking while at work and the quality of food is terrible. The delivery driver seem drunk almost feel in my door.
A very small and unassuming place, but the service is fantastic and foo incredible.
Best of all, this is a rare place in the Midlands that actually serves authentic Chinese dishes!
The beef was so chewy and the chicken was so overcooked it was hard. I can't believe we spent this money on tasteless food too.
