Catfish Johnny's - Lake Murray

Drinks, food and atmosphere were spot on. We had one of the best grouper sandwiches we'd ever had!

I ordered a mudslide that says the menu contains Tito's vodka, but I always look at what they put in my drink when they're preparing it. So I realize they didn't put the Tito's vodka that the menu says. I ask him, and he says they put vanilla vodka in it. I say: "That's not what the menu says." He says, "We haven't updated the menu." So they put God knows what liquor in it and charge you as Tito's vodka. Those who drink that vodka understand that the difference in flavor is heaven to earth. It's like ordering bourbon, and they gave you a house whiskey.

NO RESPECT FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT THEY BOOK AND THEN CANCEL SAME DAY! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR POCKETS!

Such a fun vacation vibe to eat and drink by the water. Loved the outdoor space. The food seems ok nothing crazy good but simple enough and would go back for the vibes alone. Not much vegetarian friendly options other than salad of course but and pricey for the type of food.

Relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful lake views. Friendly and attentive staff. The menu isn't huge but has a great range from burgers to steaks. My favorite is the seared blackened tuns salad with the sandwich a close second. We've also enjoyed the burgers and steaks. Spicy shrimp appetizer is also a keeper. Highly recommend.

The manager & Olivia helped us dock the boat. Olivia was also out server! Busy place with great food. Staff is friendly.

Drove out here on a whim because we wanted to grab lunch someplace on the water. Out of the way little place with a local feel and good food. Real handmade chicken tenders and a cheeseburger the size of my head. Wandered around the porch after our meal and some people were feeding a pack of turtles right off the dock. Just a nice, peaceful lunch with good ambiance and delicious food!

The weather was really nice this past weekend, so my girlfriend and I decided to check out Catfish Johnny's. It's right on Lake Murray, so the view was beautiful. We enjoyed some live music, and although we only had a few drinks and an appetizer, it was delicious. Our server, Savanna C, was courteous and attentive. It was fun, we'll be back again.

We actually ate at the Rusty Anchor that is attached to Catfish Johnny's. Catfish is more a bar. Rusty is a sit down. Food was very good. House salad was large and had everything. French fries are a pass. Stuffed potatoes where great. Shrimp and steak were terrific.
