Food was very good but they are slow. Pricey also.. We had kids with us and they got very antsy. I was hot inside also.
This was about our 6th visit to the Chapin Chop House. It will probably be our last. 3 of the 6 of us, our steaks were over cooked. The $42 filet was over cooked and had a horrible odor. I ate about 3 bites. It tasted as it smelled. I prayed i wouldn't get food poisoning. My husband shared his steak with me, but it smelled and tasted the same.
I will say the mashed potatoes were very good and the bread was excellent. We 4 of the 6 of us were very disappointed.
Sean was great!!!
Pleasantly surprised! Filet and brussels were delicious (the chili on the brussels are a nice touch). The stuffed chicken breast was very good! You have to really like goat cheese to enjoy the mashed potatoes (which I do!). Sean, our server, was very pleasant and very attentive. Great atmosphere! We will definitely be back!
Had a great experience.. Sean, our server, was great.
Sean was a great waiter! The steaks were awesome!
Very great, most importantly the food. My halibut, tarragon potatoes and asparagus was as good as it gets!!
It was disappointing. I expect more when paying $100 per person. The waitress was dis interested. We had to ask for steak knives, clean wine glasses, etc. she seemed annoyed and walked by many times without checking on us. Not sure if it was a bad night or what but expect be from a restaurant of that caliper.
We dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated immediately and our server Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. They have changed their menu recently, including their drink menu, so beware that the online menus had not been updated yet. They have a very nice cocktail menu and the drinks were excellent. We had a daily tuna special appetizer which was delicious. For entrees, my husband had the 16 oz French cut pork chop served with a pineapple butter and roasted potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and very tender. I had the stir fried duck confit , which was an interesting pick for me, however it was unique, with an oriental flare, and was amazing. Another plus is that they are open on Mondays, when so many restaurants are closed. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. It is a bit pricey, however I personally would rather not dine out as often, and receive superb food and service when I do, as it is more difficult to find these days. Enjoy!
Thank You Sean! We enjoyed dinner!

First time visiting and Johnny was excellent took really good care of use, suggested the drives we ordered and food
Johnny was a great server
The food was delicious, I had steak and my husband had a Halibut special. Timing/pacing of the meal was perfect! We were not rushed and we were not waiting. I would request a booth next time rather than be seated in the center aisle tables. Would have been a bit more intimate. Definitely recommend. Very accommodating to all types of patrons and their appetites!
Every time we have been here the service is excellent! Drinks are great and the food is exceptional. Their burger is phenomenal. This is a Chapin Gem!
Our server was very professional AND friendly, his personality fit very well with the restaurant. Our water glasses were never empty and the young man that kept them full was also very polite and friendly. The food, again, was delicious and perfectly prepared and presented. Thank you to all that worked to make our dining experience memorable.
