Frayed Knot Bar & Grill

I was attacked by a Pitbull at this establishment, made management aware and they did nothing to assist me, never asked if I was ok! Informed them that the police and animal control was on the way. After I was attacked and bitten, and bleeding the individual got in his boat and left denying that his dog had bitten me. this dog was on a leash at the time of the attack.

Great service and atmosphere! Awesome bartenders and meals! Love this place!

Great food and friendly staff. I really like the atmosphere and the view. One of my favorite places on Lake Murray to eat.

Went there around 5:30p today. I had the BBQ sandwich. Which was good, Service was good with plenty of waitresses and food runners. I'm sure when it's packed on Friday and Saturday then turn around time gets extended. Seems like some added staff. Food came out very quickly. I would add some Happy hours specials. Other than that great service and food. Highly recommended.

Great Shrimp tacos! Enjoyed sitting with a beautiful view on the shores of Lake Murray. This restaurant is pet friendly on the back deck which was perfect for us. Our server was as pleasant as could be.

The cheese fries were a HIT!!! The fish was good but the chips were very hard and dry. The burger had a delicious flavor but just wasn't enough. The views of the lake were OUTSTANDING!! I would recommend if you live in the area.

We have come here for years and the good, drinks and service have always been pretty good. Tonight was terrible. We waited 20 or more minutes to get our drink order. They switched waitresses twice. The bar waitress finally helped us and she was great..I ordered 8 SMOKED wings and a side salad. The wings came out floating in oil...not smoked and never got salad... my husband wanted brisket...sold out another friend ordered bourbon...sold out ....then ordered a miller lite....sold out... not impressed at all and may not ever come back.

We waited almost 2 hours for our food. The grease that they fried the pickles in was either old or too hot. Nothing tasted as it should. When I asked to speak to a manager, there was not one there. I have eaten at this restaurant before on several occasions and have noticed that the if they are busy, the service is very slow, but the food is usually still good. I hope that this review helps the management better prepare for larger crowds. The waitresses seemed overwhelmed and weren't able to provide good service, but they were trying very hard. It was a bit disheartening that three workers were out back smoking when we were leaving. Because of the waitress' response to our unfortunate incident, we will give it one more chance.

My fiancé and I were hesitate to give this place another try. We went there today, and we absolutely loved the place. I think they've had a change of staff, and it is for the absolute best. We had amazing service, and the food was 100 times before than before. I'm just so impressed. Our waitress Courtney was incredible. It was her second day and the bar was out of the first two drinks my finance chose. She was so apologetic and kind. We laughed it off, and he got a beer that they had available. We also sat near an employee who was eating there with her grandmother on her day off. They were so incredibly friendly and kind. It was just a great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure. It's a gorgeous location. I hope the food and service will stay like it was today.
