I sat at the bar, and it was busy. The bartender barely got my order in for early dine which is 6 p.m.

Really great food. Service is superb. Requested the picture of water instead of wearing out the waitress to fill my glass. Also this Joey 🩘 has Camel đŸ« like tendencies. Atmosphere great business lunch dressy casual. Great for family dinning or even working business lunch.

I absolutely love this place. I've never had anything less than a stellar experience here. The manager, Dalton, was so kind and came over to my table to explain how they make their she-crab soup, which is gluten free! That may not sound like a big deal, but I have Celiac Disease and this is the only restaurant I know that has a gluten free she-crab soup. They are so incredibly friendly, the waitresses are so awesome, the food is amazing, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. I love J Peters! <3

Good food and the service is friendly and efficient. It can be noisy when busy.

Staff was kind and food was hot. My group of 6 was taken into a different room from the rest of the restaurant that was much quieter. There was another family in the room as well but that was it. No music in the background and TVs were muted. It just felt a little awkward—less homie in a way. Also felt strange because the inside of the main restaurant didn’t look too crowded at all. However, all the food was fine. no complaints in that area. We shared the Flat Bread (Cheese Please): $9 that was great for an appetizer as well as a helpful / nice waitress.

Dined at the location to celebrate Fathers Day. The Prime Rib was cooked to temp, tasted just like butter. Thanks for a wonderful experience. The young lady server was professional and efficient. Peace.

We ordered takeout from J Peters on Mother’s Day, encouraged by positive online reviews. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and accommodating during my pickup.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The house salads lacked flavor, with lettuce that appeared waterlogged, and my wife found several pieces of eggshell in hers. The ribs were dry and tough, even with BBQ sauce, and the chicken had a rubbery texture, topped with sliced cheese and deli ham, lacking any sauce or seasoning. My wife's steak, ordered medium rare, was closer to medium, though we understand this can happen with takeout.

The most disappointing part of the experience was the lack of response after we contacted the restaurant twice to share our concerns. We received no follow-up, which speaks to a lack of customer care.

Based on this experience, we do not plan to return.

This was easily the worst food I have ever paid for. We ordered take out for Mother’s Day. I ordered a steak MR which was well done and flavorless. The lettuce and tomatoes were waterlogged and awful. There were egg shells in the salads. My kids got ribs with fries, both of which were also very overcooked and dry. Plus they left out an entire portion of our order. I called to at minimum have the missing items removed from our bill and was told the manager would call me back, but they never did. $140 straight in the trash.

My husband and I took a friend of mine there Saturday 4/27 for my Birthday. The service was terrible. The waitress didn’t ask if we were finished with our salads and just took them. We ordered 3 prime rib dinners. We all ordered the same thing. The mashed potatoes we recieved was a table spoon on each plate. The waitress left off the au jus. It was PRIME RIB! My husbands prime rib was cut thin. This was over a $100 dinner with drinks too! They wouldn’t take a gift card either! They will only take their own J Peters gift cards! I blame the management for the lack of training for this waitress and staff.

I went today for lunch ordered salad & potato soup. The lettuce was soggy / brown the soup was green/ brown. The Mgr (maybe the owner?) said “he tasted the soup it was fine he ate some today but he did changed the potatoes” very rude! The service was great too bad the food and mgr was not.
