I go there once or twice a week and I've asked over and over why do you play country music in a sushi bar.. I'm sure they've look at Chapin and think that's what all the good old boys want to hear.. But when you go in it's nice to get away from the world for 45 minutes eat sushi and listen something relaxing like when you go to the Chinese restaurant in Irmo.. My guess is they don't read these but they could put up a couple Buddhas :-) Play a little...
Food is great and atmosphere is quiet. Chef prepares sushi within your view. Great mixture of different types of Asian food. When busy, there may be a wait on food but it's only because it's made fresh!
Crazy girl sushi roll is our go to along with Mongolian beef and dumplings/gyoza for appetizer. Presentation of the entree is always nice but never get a picture because i just dig in! Delicious and consistent food and good service. Also enjoy the hot apple flavored sake. Love this restaurant and always look forward to coming back for my sushi fix!
