Given the good reviews it had, I had high hopes and those hopes were quickly shattered. Service was slow, it took a while to get our drinks and food although there were not many customers. Drinks were terrible. Ordered a salted caramel frozen coffee and it had absolutely no flavor and tasted watered down. I ordered a brown sugar latte and it was ok but flavor was just not there. Food was extremely bland. Quite disappointing.

Always a good experience here. Indoor seating is limited and can get loud. Outdoor options.

Friendly service, amazing food, tasty drinks and the best coffee shop ambiance you’ll find around. Their pastries are handmade and their prices are more than fair.

Amazing. I wish they had hash browns though
All of the employees are amazing. The owners are friendly and super sweet! When I need a pick me up, I know when I walk in here and see Cole and Ashley, my day will be brighter. Plus the best coffee! Love the Daily Grind.

I’ve been looking for a quiet little cafe like this since moving to this side of town to enjoy my lattes and was surprisingly pleased to see they have all of my favorite flavors. Sara took my order and was very helpful in helping me navigate my first experience here. She showed me their full food menu which I was also amazed by and the food I ordered was very good and priced appropriately. I gave my compliments on the food and was able to meet Cole who made my omelette. Will definitely be returning here again and again!

I recently visited The Daily Grind Cafe in Chapin, SC, hoping to find a new regular spot as our previous coffee shop moved. Unfortunately, my experience left me wanting more.
The staff was friendly, which was a nice first impression. However, there were a few things that didn't quite meet expectations. When I ordered a latte, I was informed they were out of almond milk. I was also left to find the menu on my own, as I wasn’t offered one, and assumed the only food options were the muffins and scones in the display case. After learning they were out of pourable eggs, I opted for a breakfast sandwich, which was decent but nothing to rave about. The latte itself was underwhelming, with very little flavor.
The biggest disappointment, though, was the temperature inside. With the cold weather we're having, I was hoping for a cozy environment to work in while sipping my latte, but the inside temperature was consistently around 65°F. The concrete floor made it uncomfortable to sit for long periods of time, as my feet started aching, tingling, and burning. I ended up having to layer up and even went to my car to grab another jacket to keep warm.
I was really hoping to make this place a new favorite, but sadly, it didn't meet the mark. I’ll have to keep looking for a more comfortable spot that offers a better overall experience.

From the moment you walk in it feels so cozy and inviting. The staff was so welcoming and treated us like we’ve been customers for years. Looking forward to this becoming our new Saturday morning breakfast stop. 🩷
