Our group has enjoyed Daily Grind in Chapin for many years. We come from Prosperity, Lexington and Irmo. We especially appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere and were greeted with an array of delicious pastries and breakfast items. The last three times we've come, there were no scones and a few items to choose, which some in our group selected and they were very dry. The management quickly made some scones for us and they were undercooked. Sadly the expresso machine was down as well. I did have two eggs, bacon and toast, and it was good. Before there were enticing lunch items, but I haven't seen lunch options as yet. We expressed concerns to management and she listened but since they don't understand our concerns we will be looking for a new place. This has been our go to, and we wish to support mom and pop businesses.

I always give props where props are due and the Daily Grind KNOCKED it out of the park today. They were busy but so very kind and their coffee hit the spot. I always ask the barista at coffee shops for their favorites, sometimes it’s a miss, a majority of the time it’s a hit and MAN was the Daily Grinds suggestion a hit! Not just for me but for my friend. The funny thing is we both don’t love cinnamon in the coffee suggested did. I made the leap to try it and OH MY it was so good! They made it just right and it was SOO SMOOTH!
10/10 would recommend!

Given the good reviews it had, I had high hopes and those hopes were quickly shattered. Service was slow, it took a while to get our drinks and food although there were not many customers. Drinks were terrible. Ordered a salted caramel frozen coffee and it had absolutely no flavor and tasted watered down. I ordered a brown sugar latte and it was ok but flavor was just not there. Food was extremely bland. Quite disappointing.
