This Old Schoolhouse in the country, is definitely a unique place for a seafood restaurant. The greeter told me that an old school boy, Jake, though now in his 80s, still comes here weekly for breakfast. Reservations are a must.

What a terrific piece of history! The building is a gorgeous example of restoration. Food was very good. The service was good instead of great because they were short staffed. But everything was well done and we will go back!

Stopped in about 6 on a Saturday on the way from Greenville to North Augusta. The place was packed, and we got the last table (reservations are recommended). K got salmon, I had steak with mushrooms and gravy; both were excellent. The house salad was a surprise with a lot of veggie goodies and some boiled egg. Broccoli was steamed just right. Service was quick and pleasant. It was a little loud, with family-sized tables and a full house. Really surprised to find such a nice restaurant in Chapelles, the boonies between Saluda and Laurens SC.

Wheelchair accessibility: The only 1 handicap parking space available was taken, and we couldn't get the wheelchair across the gravel parking lot, so it took a very long time and lots of effort to get in with his legs and feet paralyzed and a 71-yr-old mother in law helping. The ramp was accessible, though, once we got to it. Recommend at least 2 HC spaces close to the ramp with paved access. We'll make a reservation next time and request better access.

Amazing food and wonderful staff. The only issue is they tend to get busier than their chef and kitchen staff are able to prepare for in a timely manner, so just be prepared to spend some time there.

Our reservation was 8:30 we was seated but no one came over to get our drinks, we had to go and ask for service! Our order didn’t come till after 10:00! This wasn’t our first visit ! Won’t be returning !!!!???

We waited over an hour to be served. Then finally went to the hostess to ask for service. She took our order for appetizer which came out wrong. Not enough help there to accommodate the patrons. Hopefully they will hire more staff before the spring and summer customers come in to eat. Will not go back for dinner only for drinks and social atmosphere.

My absolute favorite restaurant. Food is great. Definitely make sure you either get a reservation or go around 8pm for fastest service due to popularity.

This is a truly unique venue. I enjoyed the food and the people were awesome. Great experience! I highly recommend⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
