This Old Schoolhouse in the country, is definitely a unique place for a seafood restaurant. The greeter told me that an old school boy, Jake, though now in his 80s, still comes here weekly for breakfast. Reservations are a must.
What a terrific piece of history! The building is a gorgeous example of restoration. Food was very good. The service was good instead of great because they were short staffed. But everything was well done and we will go back!
Stopped in about 6 on a Saturday on the way from Greenville to North Augusta. The place was packed, and we got the last table (reservations are recommended). K got salmon, I had steak with mushrooms and gravy; both were excellent. The house salad was a surprise with a lot of veggie goodies and some boiled egg. Broccoli was steamed just right.
