Very clean restaurant, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff and awesome food!! The collards was out of this world deliciousness! Just perfect!! Great place to enjoy a real nice sit down delicious Sunday meal. We will become regulars! Give them a try they are open Sundays 11a-4p

Great food and service. Family restaurant and big portions. Staff is friendly and cleans after each patron including seating. Food is exceptional and has really good flavor. The people that wrote negative reviews probably should not have been here. I would not go to a southern BBQ place if I was a Vegan or didn't eat pork! I am sure they would accommodate your food requests if possible.
Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant. Kids around us seemed to enjoy their food.
Parking: Plenty of parking. Entrance sign damaged from a storm. I drove a truck (bobtail) into their lot without any problems. Dirt parking, not real dusty.

I am not able to review this establishment as they have a definition issue of who they are and whether or not it's about the customer or its about them. Rumors, times, dine-in, carry out, open or closed. Of all days of the week, a restaurant(eating establishment) should have it together on Friday, Saturday, and definitely Sunday. Buffet means one that's able, can get two to three plates in of a little of everything on the line.

The food was pretty good but it use to be a lot better that it was today and the service was really bad because we waited for everything but the food. They did not have enough help and you had to use plastic silverware and paper plates. It could have been a lot better than it was.
They cater at my job. Food be over priced and nasty. The employees they send be acting unprofessional with they attitudes and communication. Take forever to serve the food

They catered a family funeral and people were scraping the bottom of Hook’s baked chicken pans to coat their rice and bread, sopping up every drop and bit of that scrumptious baked chicken! The owners even provided White Sage bundles to the homes hosting the families during the 5 day wake. The spread they prepared provided delicious fried and baked chicken with a moist, tasty rice full of flavor and several country style veggies and their old-fashion baked macaroni and cheese! So we knew we’d like whatever we ordered but we had no idea how much more impressed we could be! This time we ordered 2 Cheesesteak hoagies! They were packed and overflowing with delicious, tender steak, onion and bright green pepper strips (scattered onions and peppers but mounds of meat!) My husband had his all the way, dressed with chopped lettuce, tomato slices and mayo. We also ordered for the next day what turned out to be the Best Creamy Chicken Alfredo I’ve had prepared outside of my own kitchen! Plenty of bite sized tasty, moist, tender chicken morsels in that sensational sauce with perfectly cooked penne pasta with salad as the side. A bed of fresh chopped lettuce cradled numerous fresh cucumber slices, fresh diced tomatoes, chopped onions and lots of cheese! The portions were more than ample!! The taste was fantastic and the staff extremely personable! They treat you like family you love to see coming home!!! They’ve got T-bones and Ribeyes as their special today. We can’t wait!
