Food is good but if you go through the drive through then you may as well throw your money in the window and just take what they give you because it will NEVER be what you actually ordered

The interior, I believe, dates to the 50's when it first opened . Order at the counter and they call your number for you to pick up. Good menu. Food ranges from ok to overcooked depending on how many interruptions the cooks have.
I will say there is a lot to see while you wait for your order. Hamburgers are well done. Fries and tater tots are great if you get them first from the fryer. If they go in the tray, they turn to broken mush. The chef salad was very good.

1950s style diner! Lots of memorabilia. Wide variety of menu options, including a meat and 3. Perfect sweet tea! Affordable prices. Would love to go again if in the area!

A cute '50s style order at counter diner atmosphere. We just had burgers which were very basic. And regular crinkle cut fries which were served cold. Not bad but not great.

Bantam Chef in Chesnee, SC, is a hidden gem! I had the classic meat and 3, and it was everything you want from Southern comfort food. The portions were generous, and each side tasted homemade and flavorful, with that nostalgic, down-home taste you only find in true Southern kitchens. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, and all the sides were spot on! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made you feel right at home. If you're in the area and craving a hearty, satisfying meal, Bantam Chef is the place to be. Can't wait to go back!

I have loved Bantam Chef since I was a child. Still have the best Cheeseburgers, hands down!

The service was good and the cashier was very nice but the food wasn't that good. I got a BLT and onion rings. Probably won't go back

The food was just not good. Super expensive for what you get. Why was chicken fries and a drink almost 15 dollars?? The lady taking orders was also really rude. I used to really like this place not long ago. Idk what happened to it. Also decided to order a banana split. Literally came out completely melted… how can they serve that? Just remake it if you see it like that?
