I've been going here for at least 15 yrs. Helen, the owner, hasn't been there the last 6 months at least. The woman who takes your order doesn't seem to understand what you're trying to ask or order. We got the Sample Platter (I'd tell Helen...PuPu Platter and she knew what I meant.) Well, the fried chicken was hard and seemed as if it was cooked twice. Couldn't even eat it! This is the best Chinese food we've had since moving to the Upstate from the Mid-Atlantic area. The owner is very friendly and she always remembers our drinks preferences and choices of rice. Generous portions with plenty of fresh veggies. The hot sour soup is the best I've ever had. We go there about once a week.
In terms of cheap, fast, Chinese takeout this place hits all the marks. Decent prices, inflation taken into consideration. Super fast, I placed an order over the phone and it was ready within give minutes, and piping hot. I honestly had low expectations coming in but I was pleasantly surprised. The lo mein was nicely sauced and delicious!
