Jauhar, the person checking ID’s at the front on Wednesday night, is the rudest individual who I have ever come into contact with. Denied my husband and I to come in tonight for absolutely no reason. He has always been incredibly disrespectful to us and our friends making up lies that we leave a mess at our table when in fact, we do not. We made a comment about his rude behavior tonight and he kicked us out. Really unfortunate because we are all Wednesday night regulars. This is the last time I will be at backstreets ever again.

A lot of people put up false reviews for this place because they decided they did not want guns in their bar. They did it with a snarky sign and people got butt hurt.So here's the lo down on how they are as a restaurant and bar, and not an opinion on the extent to which 2nd amendment rights apply to private businesses:Their beer selection is the best in Clemson. Tons of cans and bottles and lots of taps. They get some really great craft stuff in. Plus this year they started the 100 beer club where you get a shirt and a plaque if you drink 100 beers there. The bartenders love their beer and make some great recommendations.Their food is bar food but they definitely step it up. Most things always have a little something something that takes it up a notch above standard bar food. Also their weekly specials are very good.Monday - $1 tacos,Tuesday - $5.75 large pizza,Wed -. $6.75/dzn wings,Thursday - burger night (<$6 for house burger and fries or tots, only $1 for speciality burger.They also have an upstairs and downstairs patio. Pups are allowed on the lower patio Mon to Thurs till 8.Update:Food is not as good as it used to be but it's decent bar food. Still a great selection of beer and staff is helpful. Two pool tables downstairs.

this place is the best ! my roommate and i came to the door in pajamas dying for some of their wings ! the staff was super kind while we stood close to the counter waiting on our food. it was fresh & hot ! still the best fried pickles i’ve ever had .

Our organization hosted a social here last Friday and had a great time. The manager, Dave, patiently answered all my questions before and during the event. He rearranged tables downstairs and had warmers under our appetizers to keep them fresh throughout our event. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate how above and beyond they went!

He rearranged tables downstairs and had warmers under our appetizers to keep them fresh throughout our event. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Met for a business meeting with my colleagues as a 22 year old and a 25 year old looking blonde with glasses and a hat denied me twice and the second time being after I had already been admitted a wristband by the door man upstairs. I was heavily dissatisfied in my experience and think that door man downstairs should be fired. thank you for the experiences before but I will not be coming back due to your door men denying people of age due to bias or something. thank you for your time.
