Salad had to be returned as it seemed to have been pre prepared a long time ago.
My ginger ale had to be returned because it was flat so I asked for a coke instead. Same thing so I had water.
The bread never came till I had to get up and ask for it. They did not know it was included with the dinner. Even so it took forever and what they brought was not enough as we were six.
It was cold inside. We asked for some heat but that too never took place.
Finally, the check took forever and ever to arrive. Again, we had to get up and see that was wrong.
We've been at Calhoun Corners before and that is why my wife asked to celebrate her birthday there. Sorry...not again!

Reservation recommended. Michael did an awesome job as our server. We both ordered filets and they were cooked perfectly, one medium rare the other medium. Great wine list as well.

This little gem is an older home with a lot of style. I highly recommend we had steaks, escargo, and even dessert here, everything was delicious. Staff was terrific.

Escargot was over cooked but salads were good. Bread is very dense and hard. Almost stale like.

For main meals, everything was just OK (tuna, steak and scallops). I got the salmon special. Definitely the smallest portion I have ever received at a restaurant. Not worth the $30+

Someone got the pecan pie. It was very good.

Service was iffy. Sat without a drink for a long time.

No refills on soda, $3.50 a glass. Seriously.

Food was decent, but took almost an hour to come out. Acknowledged by the staff but didn’t do anything to make up for it. Of course you’re going to be busy on a Saturday night. Filet was tough.

Very disappointing. Waited over an hour for our entrees only to find they were cold when finally delivered. Mashed potatoes had a chemical taste, carrots were essentially raw. Steak was ok except for being room temp and a cold side of blue cheese crumbles. Honestly would go to Longhorns for a better dinner for less. Rick Irwins for a little more is also a better choice. Unfortunately Clemson is not the place to go for good restaurants. Stick to Greenville as your best bet...

Highly recommend the Calhoun Filet!!!! Kelly at the bar made the best-ever Old Fashioned drinks. Everyone was great and the food was great as well.

We went to Calhoun Corners for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely incredible. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Our waitress, who had only been in the area for two weeks, was so kind and friendly, offering great suggestions throughout the night.

We started with the escargot and stuffed mushrooms, both were delicious, and the fresh, hot, buttery bread was irresistible. For our main courses, I had the beef Wellington, perfectly cooked and flavorful, while my wife’s favorite of the night was the prime rib. Everything was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing.

Our waitress even took the time to give us other dining recommendations in the area since we are visiting. Overall, it was an unforgettable anniversary dinner and we can’t recommend Calhoun Corners enough.

Pretty decent restaurant! I love the decor and vibe, and our waitress was great. They also had a dedicated gluten free menu. I hate to sound negative, but the food could have been better for what we paid. If you get mashed potatoes, they're instant. The appetizers were great though, I'd definitely come back just to split a few with someone.

We were there to celebrate my son’s graduation, and the waitress’ poor service ruined the meal. After an hour of just having cocktails and bread, our waitress told us our meal would be out soon. 30 minutes later I finally tracked her down, and she blamed a big party elsewhere in the restaurant for the delay. When I pointed out that she said our meal would be out shortly, she denied it. When our meal finally came, my wife’s Tuna was raw/frozen (she ordered it medium). Our waitress never came back to check on us. When she finally did come back to bring us the check, my wife told her about the raw tuna. Her response was, that sometimes happens when you order rare. After sitting another 10 minutes waiting to pay, I asked the bartender to run my card. Our waitress appeared and rudely responded that ours wasn’t the only table. Never once did a manager check on us, and our waitress never apologized for the slow service or undercooked tuna. I would think twice about dining here again.

Of course there well known for their steaks but the trout is always very good. Love sitting in the dining room where the bar is located. Lots of friendly activity

I made a reservation a couple weeks before our anniversary to be sat in the bar area. I had a choice of 530 or 630. I chose the latter. When we arrived at first they couldn't find my reservation then found that they had us upstairs. It was warm and very loud from several big groups. Not the 33rd anniversary I envisioned. Also...there were empty tables in the bar area that were still empty when we came back down.

We were celebrating my wife's 76th birthday. We had hoped for a special meal, sadly we were greatly disappointed. The greek Salad was so laden with vinegar that it was NOT edible! I sent it back to the kitchen.
I ordered the shrimp with baked potato. My wife ordered the rainbow trout with veggies. The best we can say is that the meal was simply pedestrian. Certainly not worth the $73 we spent. It's sad that Clemson so badly needs a great place to eat but somehow the message isn't being understood by the entrepreneurs selling food.
I have owned a restaurant and know how to please my customers. The Dimas Bros cafe in Seneca does a better job serving tasty food than Pixie & Bills or Calhoun Corners!

By far some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything had amazing flavor, and we will definitely be coming back soon, great spot!
