This location is absolutely the worst Chick-fil-A I’ve ever visited. The wait times for mobile orders are outrageous — I thought using the mobile drive-thru would speed things up, but it’s just as slow (if not slower) than going inside. What’s even more frustrating is that they consistently get my order wrong, even when I place it through the app. I’ve given this place multiple chances, and it’s the same disappointment every time. This level of service is completely unacceptable and does not meet the standards Chick-fil-A is known for. Avoid this location if you value your time and want your order done right.

I never thought the day would come that I’d 1 star review a Chic-Fil-A. It’s absolutely insane how long it takes to get a meal here. Even with their stupid “mobile thru” which is supposed to be oh so amazing and save so much time. Incorporating a “mobile thru” line has ultimately slowed the drive thru service. Go to the Easley location and it’ll speak for itself.

Was in drive thru for 27 minutes (not exaggerating). When I got to my house I realized the sweet tea had leaked from a hole in one of the cups, saturated my seat and the entire bag of food next to it. I want to support Chick-fil-A but the service is poor, the food is good at best (other places have better food cheaper) , and they continue to eliminate items from the menu that I want (large shake is just one instance). It may be time to give up on the Clemson location. Enough is enough.

It was utter chaos at 830pm at night when I visited with a friend. We wanted to go in and place an order and no one would move in the parking lot for us to access a spot. We gave up after 20 minutes. I can't rate anything really because we got no service, no parking spot and no food. I can't give it more than an okay... based on this experience. My best recommendation is to avoid this location at all costs if the university students are at Clemson. The parking lot was wild.

I’ve been going to this CFA for 15 years and have unfortunately watched it deteriorate over that period of time. The poor reviews you read here are true: huge wait times, impolite service, cold or burnt food. Compared to other CFA’s in the area, this one is poorly managed and fails at their execution. What is to be expected of a CFA is not found at this location.

What made me finally write this review was an instance this morning, where we did not have a huge wait in the drive thru (surprisingly) and yet they STILL forgot to add food to our bag. We ordered 2 meals and an entree on the side, so nothing too big. I’m one of those people who understands if things are busy or if you miss some food once in a while, but the past 5 times my family has dined here, whether inside or through the drive-thru, food we have paid for has been missing. The quality is lacking, the food is subpar when I receive it cold or burnt (don’t get an egg white grill here) or after a 30 minute wait, and I’m tired of losing money expecting a different outcome.

The problem isn’t the wait times or the crowds, because Easley and Anderson have plenty and still deliver quality service and food - the issue is this store. The problem seems to be that either the training is off and the ownership doesn’t care to put the work in to train and plan their execution of service, or they rotate management too often, or both. I used to work at this store in its heyday, and our staff team was solid for morning and evening shift, working as a well-oiled machine, no rotating door of employees, for years. It can be that again, just stop depending upon the bells and whistles to ‘get numbers’ and do what every good company does that makes people want to stay: invest in your employees and care about your customer.

My advice? Go if you have to, if the store isn’t bursting, check your bags before you leave - but if possible just go to a local place instead or go to a neighboring fast food place where you’ll get better service and better food.

This place continues to struggle to deliver food in timely manner. Not
Even close to performance of other stores. Thirty mins to pick up mobile order. Sad!!!!

Mobile thru line is extremely slow. Built to be faster but I’ve been sitting here for 15 mins while the other line quickly moves.

I went to chick fil a this afternoon and they didn’t put chicken in my hamburger and i didn’t realize until i got home. And the fries were all in pieces.

Not the most fabulous Chic-fil-A we have been to. The place was dirty with a sticky floor; food was fine; server missed a drink on a very easy app order; and attention to the front counter was non-existent… almost like customers standing at the counter and waiting for refills were invisible. Artwork on the wall was amazing, but that’s not really why we come.

I have a challenge for anyone reading this. Pick a week to go to this CFA. Then go to the Anderson CFA and then the Easley location. I guarantee the Clemson location will be your worst experience by a large margin. Slow and rude service. Rude catering staff. The CFA locations on Clemson’s campus ran by contractors are markedly better than this location. I genuinely believe the only reason this location survives is due to its close proximity to a large college campus. Pictured below is my large lemonade. Literally half empty. If you’re an out of state student who drives a G wagon and pays with Daddy’s credit card this is the place for you. All others stay away.

In the drive through with a mobile order. 35 minutes waiting and still counting.
