I've been a regular at this location for a while now, and while the food is decent for what is is- the customer service experience has become more and more frustrating, and honestly, it's reaching a point where it outweighs the convenience.
Gabe is the only reason I've continued to give this place ANY business. He's always EXTREMELY friendly, professional, and treats customers with respect. He clearly cares about his job and goes out of his way to make things right when there's an issue. It's rare to find someone in food service who consistently brings that kind of positive energy.
Unfortunately, the female manager is especially rude and unpleasant to deal with. She has a nasty attitude, talks to customers like they're an inconvenience, and seems to think that basic manners are optional. I've seen her be short and aggressive with customers and even condescending toward her own staff- completely unprofessional. And to make matters worse, the general manager is NEVER to be found. Seriosuly- where is this person? If they were doing their job, maybe the environment wouldn't be so toxic. It's obvious there's no real accountability. and that lack of leadership shows in how the place is run. D.P Dough, or more like (D.P DONT GO) needs a SERIOUS overhaul in management if they want to keep people coming back. Until then, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Gabe demonstrated great customer service!
He was eager to help & was very knowledgeable of my questions.
However the female manager could be very rude & unprofessional.
I always give credit where credit is due and feedback to help with improvement .
This place definitely needs a few improvements.
The manager needs to work on team building.
The GM needs to be aware of these issues.
The nasty trash old can in the dining room needs to be replaced .
As well as professional display of signs.
Apparently the GM never visits this location.
Not good at all. Dough was not cooked properly.
I stop in often late at night. The consistency of what I get is night and day difference. One time it'll be really good and be worth the money mostother times they barely put anything in my calzone it's mostly all bread for $15. Every time I add extra toppings I don't get them last time I added $6 in toppings and got none of them and the calzone had barely anything in it to begin with. Hoping for the refund they offered that they were not sure whether it went through or not. Totally was not a $15 calzone. Whoever is making the calzones with nothing in them needs to stop or I will stop coming and I suppose a lot of other people will.
Ordered online and when the time slot came and went, I called the restaurant to ask about my order. The worker who picked up the food was very rude during the interaction and told me that I’d just have to wait. So I waited, and waited, until they closed and didn’t get my order delivered to me. They made me wait 3 hours for nothing. If you want to get food late at night these guys are not reliable and you are better off making the calzone yourself. Could probably make it faster!
Service was horrible, I was not getting anything but my friend was refused his order with no refund. He was not able to show a receipt because he didn’t receive it, but the employee admitted to remembering which calzone my friend ordered and still refused.
Decreased portion sizes and 40 min wait times
dp doughs?! or dp don’t go. my experience today at this establishment was the worst take out experience i have ever had in my whole life.
it was a long day for the whole town of clemson, and after a long good day of games and fun i was really excited for a good hot and fast calzone from dp (don’t go). when my friends and i arrived there we were waiting for a while in the “line” and come to find out they weren’t doing orders in person. we did not hear this information from the managers or employees, but heard from the customers. this already said a lot but we decided to still stay. we had to place our orders online and had to wait. VERY long story short, we waited for over 2 and a half hours for three calzones. my personal calzone “drop zone” had a certain “fried chicken” but tasted like something out of this world, it made me sick to my stomach. come to find out, as well, that the manager also told the employees to make the food out of convenience and out of order which is why it took so long. so if you decide to eat at dp doughs 🙄🙄i recommend don’t because they need to honestly shut down for this rude, incompetent, SLOW, inedible chicken, and service. I hope this helps. i might actually sue
This place rake 2 hour to make. Animals ready to order calzone, don’t go here, They should sell
their leasing and go out to a buffet arear
The girl working at the counter tonight was extremely rude to me when I picked up an UberEats order.

Ordered food here 8/23 via Uber for pickup. Grabbed my order and later realized that I did not receive any of my sauces. On multiple platforms, it states that the garlic butter and marinara comes with it. I ordered an extra side of garlic butter, marinara, and one side of jalapeño ranch. Each was $0.99 plus tax. The original amount was $9.25 on Uber for the cheese sticks. That means I paid over 30% more on this food item for no reason. Since it’s under one item, i believe this is why Uber can’t refund me for just the missing sauces since I actually received the main food itself. Since the marinara was free it’s not too much of an issue but it was half full if even. This whole experience was quite disappointing and a rip off.

Calzones are very tasty and will fill you well. But the place is awful, small and badly worn, no atmosphere at all.
