We had the opportunity to eat at Evolve Kitchen & Table right before the Clemson fall semester started back up again. Restaurant was relatively empty which gave us the opportunity to check out the decor, seating, and meal. Our waitress was Adrianna, and she was very helpful to explain the menu to us, the restaurant’s mission and answer any questions we had. Additionally, she was able to make several recommendations.
The menu is outstanding! From starters like crispy Brussels, baked pimento cheese and crispy cauliflower, the selection is quite unique. Tacos, char-grilled Angus burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads fill out the menu. A great number of delicious choices to choose from.
In the end, we settled on the smoked brisket tacos and “The Cheese” char-grilled angus burger. Both packed incredible flavor and were an excellent choice. Quite frankly, looking at the menu, and the freshness of the ingredients, you just can’t go wrong. Beware! I ordered the dessert which ended up being a full pint of ice cream. It was delicious.
My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. I’m sure it will get crowded on game days, but I think it is worth the wait. A really enjoyable meal, with a great waitress, in a comfortable setting.
Stop on by and give it a try

We had a reservation at 7:30 on Friday (09/12/2025) for a friends birthday after a high review recommendation for another friend. Upon arrival we had a waitress that was extremely rude. I cannot recall her name, but she was a blonde and probably college aged. We asked if the queso was supposed to be cold, and she simply replied “No.” and snatched it from the table. When we asked to split the check at the end (We are college students and have to split) she replied with “I usually don’t split checks” and reluctantly did it. I tipped around 15% despite the bad service. When we finished we were talking outside and the waitress came out and asked what she did to deserve less tip and that some people live off tips which we completely understand. I almost always do 20%, but the experience left such a bad impression I thought 15% was still pretty generous. To come out after such bad service with an attitude to ask why we didn’t give her what she thought she deserved was completely unprofessional. I hope a discussion can be had there so we can give it another chance.

Best Brussel sprouts ever! A must try. It was move in week so of course they were busy, but staff handled it very well. The bartender managed a full bar and the front door well. He’s a great worker!

First time here and the food was great. Our server was really nice. This was one of the top 3 dining experiences I’ve had in Clemson and it was just a casual lunch. Nice job!

Tucker is the man! Super friendly and a great conversation for those of you that go on solo lunch expeditions. Food was also great. One of my top spots in Clemson.

One of the few dog friendly places we found in Clemson. A very good, locally sourced place to eat. The food was great! The Whiskey burger was incredible! the meat was so tender that I thought I had missed it in the first bite! Cooked to perfection and seasoned impeccably. The only drawback was the bun, it was a little too crumbly. That could just be me, dont let it stop you. The fries are flavorful, cooked to perfection. The Brisket Nachos are delicious! Tender brisket, crunchy chip, tangy picked onions, this is on the appetizer menu, but we got it as a main dish.
We had our pups with us, so we sat outside. It was a little warm, and our server brought out water for both of them...several times actually. The service was good for the most part, other than we had to ask for my daughters chicken wrap. Apparently it was placed away from the rest of our order so it was missed and not brought out with the rest of our food.
The decor inside was very nice and the AC was refreshing.
We will be back...so we can bring the dogs and so I can try other things on the menu!
