Habanero’s Mexican Grill

Have passed this restaurant for the last four years and finally decided to come in and try it out.

You can dine inside or there is a small patio outside which was full of patrons when I arrived. Love the interior decor, especially the chairs that are brightly colored and well decorated.

Upon seating I was given chips and two sauces. I preferred the lighter sauce over the darker sauce. For dinner I started with the guacamole dip. Thought it could use a bit more flavor, but overall not bad. My main dish was the steak fajitas. Came out sizzling and they were excellent. Finished off my meal with a fried ice cream since no flan was on the menu. Overall, the food was pretty good.

Service was excellent, even though I was sitting next to a large table of 13 patrons. Renata was still attentive and made sure I was served well.

Overall, I will return. Decent food, love the atmosphere and great service. Enjoy!

We went here for the $1 tacos and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were! 4 is all I could eat. My wife got some other Mexican dish that she loved. And the margaritas were delish! Great decor inside and it was fun to see many college students coming in to enjoy some inexpensive food! Server was really good and fast with drinks and food. Highly recommended!!

this has got to be the best tacos in Clemson 6 Mile or Central and where else can you get tacos for a 1.25 every Tuesday please check them out

This was my first visit here. I heard about their $1 tacos on Tuesdays. I went in with low expectations. We chose soft shells and got a mix of beef and chicken. They were really good - especially for $1/pc! They were simple - meat, lettuce, and cheese. I used some of the hot sauce on the table to spruce them up. They were so good I ordered some more to go to share back at work. The atmosphere was a typical Mexican restaurant. Music was playing in the background. Our server was friendly and the food came out very quick. They had some space heaters going so there must be something wrong with their HVAC. The chips and salsa were mediocre compared to other places. I fed 5 people today for $18 plus a tip. Highly recommend this place on Taco Tuesday! I’ll be back.

Beautifully made tacos and their 1 dollar taco Tuesday is insanely good. Make sure you get there around 5/6, later it gets packed!

Don Piggy fajitas are amazing!

The girl that served me obviously doesn’t pay her own way.
1. No napkins
2. No spoon for habanero sauce
3. 25min no service and had others had to take food & drink order.
4. Billed me wrong for drink orders and didn’t know how to print itemized receipt
5. Didn’t give me choice of flour or corn tortillas
6. Didn’t care
7. Couldn’t get beer tap working
Smiling and looking good doesn’t make up for bad service and is not great for business.

When I tell you I hate Mexican food and I’ve ordered the Quesabirria tacos for three nights in a row. They’re amazing!!

they did not order give me my cheese dip and charge me for it or my diet coke

From the outside, this place looks sketchy but once your food arrives you will be pleased. Large servings and great flavor. Really hit the spot and made my last hours before dropping my child at Clemson a pleasure.

I've only ever been on Taco Tuesday for the $1 tacos. I've never even looked at their menu but, the $1 tacos are huge and delicious. I'm certain everything on their menu is equally as good.

Ordered a Torta and they put two burger buns together instead of using the right bread. So disappointing.
