I already thought that Handel’s make some of the best ice cream I’ve tasted, but today Handel’s lived up to its family friendly, good customer reputation in a big way. A young counter person made a minor understandable order taking error. When she fixed her mistake, she did it pleasantly and with a smile before refusing the additional payment that was due. In fact, she declined my offer of payment several times.

Absolutely worth the visit if you’re in Clemson. The service is amazing, and the ice cream is extremely tasty. On my most recent visit here, I got a key lime pie milkshake, and it tasted awesome!!

My friends and I visited Handel’s on August 2nd which was a Friday evening. We have always had great ice cream and good service here and we were looking forward to it. The young man who took our order was friendly and fun to talk to. However, most of us ordered medium bowls. In the past, and we’ve been here numerous times, the portions were proportionate to the price. We were given very small bowls of ice cream, definitely not worth the money spent.
