All I can say is AMAZING!! Probably the most authentic Asian cuisine I have had at a restaurant. Food was fresh, made from scratch, and very flavorful. Not to mention all of the sauces are house made. Ms. Mae was an absolute delight. My only regret is not trying this place sooner.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.

I absolutely love this place! It's run by one elderly lady who is the absolute sweetest person ever. The food was so good my mom(notoriously small appetite) ate her whole plate. It's not your typical local Asian bistro, but the food tastes homemade in a way that's hard to explain but made me very happy. Plus she's got free water and tea available to serve yourself. 12/10 gonna eat there again.

Food was wonderful. Everything had original flavors. The texture of the vegetables was the best I'd ever had in a restaurant. The steak bulgogi bowl was delicious and she gave us a side of pork belly as well. The free green tea didn't hurt either! Overall a great experience I'm definitely going to repeat!

This had good reviews, but honestly, I don't know why! The dumplings were tough and salty. The Masaman curry sauce was very runny, rice was unevenly cooked, some done, some hard and uncooked. The veggies were limp and over cooked. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Listen up!! If you love Asian cuisine, then this is your place!!! The owner (I think MAY) is absolutely amazingggggg. She accidentally left open sign on while she went in to clean up from night before. We saw the sign was on so we went in to get food not knowing it was really closer. And she served us anyways!!!! She cooked 4 different meals all alone for us and didn't turn us away. Was such the sweetest thing ever that this is my new go to place for Asian cuisine. Also the food was beyond AMAZINGGGGG!!! EVERYONE IN OR NEAR CLEMSON SHOULD STOP HERE AND TRY IT OUT.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have an Asian grandmother make her special recipes just for you? What delicious wonders would await you? Well, wonder no more. This charming and quaint eatery is just that. I did pickup, and arrived a little early to find the owner chopping fresh veggies for my Bibibap and hand crimping my dumplings. I cannot say I've ever seen such care taken, and it translated into phenomenal food. The "Crab Angels" were SUBLIME. I know they aren't traditional, and that they were invented by a tiki restaurant, but they are tasty. And these are, no lie, the BEST I've ever had. (And yes, I've had the originals from Trader Vic's). The Jiaozi were quite good, and the Bibi(m)bap was delicious. My only complaint would be that I wish I had eaten in, as the egg firmed up a bit in my drive home (but the yolk was still a bit runny, so SCORE). But that's not on Ms. Mae, the owner/cook/all round sweetie. Next time I'm eating in for sure.Seriously, if you are on the fence about giving this a try, JUST DO IT. You won't regret it.

Fantastic food! May makes everything fresh to order. Pad Thai is my wife's favorite Asian dish and this was the best she's ever had. My orange chicken was awesome, as were the dumplings. If you want something sweet, the coconut mango sticky rice is fantastic. Can't wait to go back!

So good!! This is my favorite Asian place in the Clemson area. The woman who works there is so kind and her food is delicious. The sweet potato glass noodles are amazing, as are the dumplings, and my boyfriend loves the pad thai. I've been here several times and it never disappoints. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

I've been meaning to try this place out for a while, and I'm so happy I finally did!! The food is amazingly good, the flavors are super authentic and unbelievingly delicious. The amount of fresh vegetables is refreshing and the serving sizes are perfectly large. There's one cook who takes your order and makes it for you completely from scratch and fresh every time. The staff is so kind and that plus the food makes you want to come back for more! There's free tea to drink with your meal and chopsticks (and forks) readily available. I will absolutely be coming again!

we have ordered Veg Indian chickpea curry and tofu pad thai. Indian chickpea curry had too much garam masala. On tofu pad thai, i saw some chicken so i didn't eat that (I am vegetarian). Overall I don't think I will go there again. The good think is I like the energy of the owner. Despite being elderly, she was the single person doing everything there.

We were looking for Thai food after moving here and the reviews of several places were all over the map. Google steered us here and we have zero regrets. The menu is simple, but the food is anything but. Jean (Mae) is the owner and cook, so please be patient as she wears all the hats. Your patience will be rewarded! You'll find Thai, Chinese, and Korean choices on the menu and I would suggest you try them all. This outing, the three of us ordered the beef stew, bibibap with tofu, chicken fried rice, and a vegetable egg roll. Everything was perfect with no need for additional seasoning or sauces. Go support local businesses and be sure to see Mae!

Best Asian food I've ever had. The cook is a very sweet lady. The whole place has grandma's cooking vibes. There's a little market inside too. I will definitely be back.

This little one woman restaurant is delicious!! Everything is homemade and not your run of the mill Asian food. We had cheese angels, spring rolls, pad Thai and basil chicken and shrimp- all wonderful!! Thank you for your friendly atmosphere too. ; )
