Got the chicken wings and these little celery are what they give you lol I put a real celery stick from wal mart as a comparison. I remember when places used to give you a proper side of carrots and celery to go with wings. Just another sign of americas decline. It’s still one of the only half way decent places to eat out in this town so 4 stars whatever but I’m not happy about it

Steer clear! We have enjoyed meals here before on a number of occasions but will NEVER return after tonight's experience (4 August 2025 from 6:15-7:30pm).
We had what was the absolutely worst waitress that we've ever encountered. She was rude, inattentive and seemed generally inconvenienced when we made any request at all.
After over an hour of waiting, seeing tables around us receive their meals, we had yet to receive our appetizer and our beverage glasses were empty. I'd had enough and went to the front to ask for a manager. I told him that I was sorry that he had his job with such horrible staff, who was doing more harm than good to his establishment. He apologized and asked me if I'd pay for my beers at a discount, when I told him we were leaving. What?!?? I told him I would, and did.
These people clearly have no appreciation for their customers and should pursue jobs in other fields. Again, steer clear....!

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had — not just at a Mellow Mushroom, but anywhere. My father and I came in expecting a relaxed meal, and from the moment we sat down, our server (young woman, pimply, with black hair) made it very clear we were an inconvenience to her. She greeted us with pure attitude, no smile, no greeting — just cold, irritated energy like we had personally ruined her day by sitting at her table. She was visibly annoyed every time we asked a basic question or needed anything — drinks, updates, anything at all. It was like we were bothering her by simply existing. We waited over an hour for just our appetizer — which never came. Meanwhile, tables seated long after us were getting their food and service with no issue. We never got a single refill. We barely even saw her. When we did, she was either blaming someone else or giving us a nasty look with another excuse. It was clear she didn’t care about our experience, our time, or our business. It honestly felt like she was punishing us for something — for what, I have no idea. She was cold, rude, and beyond unprofessional. We ended up walking out hungry and angry. When we finally got a manager involved, he did waive the food (that we never even received), but then had the audacity to only discount our drinks. Drinks that should have clearly been comped completely, considering we were never served our food and had the worst service I’ve ever encountered. That gesture felt like a lazy, half-hearted attempt to save face — not to actually make things right. No one seemed genuinely sorry. No one tried to turn the experience around. It was just excuse after excuse and the bare minimum effort after over an hour of our time was wasted. We were polite. We were patient. And we got treated like trash in return. I won’t be back. And I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear of this location too. If this is the kind of service you’re okay letting walk around representing your business, that says all we need to know. Shame on your staff, and shame on your management for not doing more.

🍄🍕 We stopped in for dinner at Mellow Mushroom in Clemson and were absolutely blown away, not just by the food, but by the outstanding service we received from our server, Abby.
We ordered the Pacific Rim pizza, and let me tell you, it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked crust, the sweetness of the pineapple balanced beautifully with the smokiness of the ham and the spice of the jalapeños, just a flavor bomb all around. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time.
But what really made the evening was Abby. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of her game from start to finish. And here’s the kicker, she was also juggling a table right next to us where a guest was being incredibly rude and downright disrespectful. Despite being treated like 💩 (no exaggeration), Abby never lost her cool. She handled the situation with so much professionalism and grace, you’d think she was in a customer service masterclass. She never let it affect her energy or the experience for the rest of her tables.
If you’re in Clemson and looking for good food and even better service, go to Mellow Mushroom, and if you’re lucky enough to get Abby as your server, consider your night made. Give that woman a raise and a pizza named after her. 🍕👏
