Top notch food and staff. Ask for server Jessica!
Celebrated a birthday at this upscale, a la cart steakhouse. Our filets, NY strip and bison were cooked as requested and very tender and flavorful. A memorable evening.

Absolutely Wonderful….Tree Nut and Soy Allergies? No problem for Rick Erwin’s restaurant in Clemson. I contacted the restaurant earlier to see if they could accommodate our daughter’s Tree Nut and Soy Allergies for her 21st birthday celebration. Without hesitation, they told us there was no problem. When we arrived, all of the staff knew of her allergies, they had a special table and birthday card ready for us, and we all enjoyed the most delicious meal. The Filet and 1/2 Chicken entrees were out of this world along with the Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. They also refrigerated, applied candles, and brought out her special birthday cake that I provided. For those that have food allergies, you know how hard it is to eat outside of your home. So grateful to all at the restaurant for helping to make her birthday so special.
Dietary restrictions: Easily accommodated Tree Nut and Soy Allergy

We went to Rick Erwin's for our anniversary. First, let's talk about the good: -great service, the wait staff were all extremely pleasant and professional. -the food was phenomenal. We both had the 3 course special and both of our steaks were excellent. -extras, I added that this was our anniversary on the reservation, and the staff signed and beautiful card for us and served us a couple of glasses of champagne. The not as good: -the website specifically goes into detail about the dress code being business casual, so we made sure we dressed accordingly. Only not find a table of gentlemen dressed in t-shirts and jeans. I know it's petty, but if you are going to stress your dress code, then enforce your dress code. Beyond this one hiccup, it was a wonderful experience.
We really enjoyed our dinner. The staff was excellent. Mae and James served us and they were absolutely delightful. Every course of our meal was excellent. Flavorful, fresh and the perfect temperature. Portion sizes were great. Peanut butter pie was amazing.
I had been to Rick Erwin's Clemson a few times before, but I was really disappointed. There is nothing spectacular about the food. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't great. There are many, many restaurants in Greenville that are way better at an even or lower price point. If I am paying that much for a meal then it needs to be spectacular. It wasn't. It also took a good while to get the food while the restaurant looked to be 30% full, at best. The other real gripe is that the service was suffocating to the point of being annoying. There were 5 different people who came to the table, including the hostess. While everyone wanted to provide good service I don't think they really knew how overwhelming and distracting it was. Maybe minimize the contact points and not have the "roving" Manager with the suit on come to the table 4 or 5 times to check on things. Way too much. Let the waitress do her job.
After many years coming to Clemson we finally made a reservation here. The restaurant was lovely and quiet. My only issue was we were seated and greeted by the water and menu staffer but our server didn't come for about 10 minutes. Crickets. The very nice water attendant kept coming but could not take our drink order or bring bread. Once the waiter came we were well attended to and the food was delicious.
Booked a reservation for Saturday evening for Clemson Parents weekend. Ambiance is beautiful, and the food was delicious. The best restaurant in the Clemson area that we have experienced so far. We will definitely be back. Our waiter, Thaddeus was great and on point with recommendations.
Great first experience. Staff was outstanding...attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Manager greeted us and welcomed us as first time visitors. Food was excellent. A gem. Highly recommend
We could not have asked for anything better. From start to finish, it was a perfect dining experience. Greeted at the entrance with pretty smiling faces who took us to our table. The service was absolutely wonderful . The food came out in a timely manner and was excellent .Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.Well done Rick Erwin's.

Rick Erwin's is the best restaurant in Clemson by far. Food quality is off the charts and service is fantastic. We really love the atmosphere both at the bar and in the dining room.
Don't mind paying the price “if done right” but they get a lot of little things wrong. They push you to order and leave, (It wasn't a busy night), so what's the hurry. Every five minutes the girl was asking us if we were ready to order. Then they got our meals switched around, (with the other couple we were with), when they brought them out. That's basic serving error 101 mistakes. My wife and I shared a dozen Oysters, she had two Cosmos and I had two bourbons, she had scallops and I had 7oz. Filet and baked potato. Total $206.00 before taxes. Judge for yourself.
Our fav Clemson “tailgate spot”. The weather is always perfect inside Rick Erwin's and it's the perfect place to kick off (pun intended) with awesome food and drinks before game time!!
We went for the first time tonight, celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. It was easy making reservations online. The hostess seated us and we waited briefly for Thaddeus, our server, to arrive. He was great, from giving a tour of the menu, to making some great suggestions and recommendations. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and it was absolutely delicious. Our first experience at Rick Edwin's was a great one and I'm sure we will be back. Again, Thaddeus was great ... and very knowledgeable ... and of course, a most excellent server.
