The food and service were both exceptional. The portions were quite large and we ended up with take home containers which is almost unheard of lately with restaurants shrinking the size, but raising the prices.
Amazing food and service! Easily favorite restaurant in the Clemson area. Second time here and will definitely be coming back.
We had a very nice birthday celebration. Great food and excellent service. Hands down best dining experience in our area:)
Fabulous restaurant in Clemson. Food and service exceptional. Great wine list. A must do if you are visiting the University.
I wanted a good experience for my friend's birthday. Everything was exceptional except for the noise at the table behind us. Talking loudly about work etc. However, it didn't stop the evening from being one of the best I have ever experienced. The waitress was professional and friendly. The food was more than exceptional. They didn't miss anything down to the birthday dessert complete with sparklers delivered to our table. We will definitely return!!
This was excellent overall. The food was phenomenal. The portion sizes were large for the sides, plenty to eat. The Service is what made it exceptional. The 2 ladies who waited on us were on point with everything they did. Our table was never dirty. The signature cocktails were pricey. That was my only complaint. It did not stop me from trying one, as they were not your usual cocktail...very unique, very good but would like a lower price. I will go back, there is much more I would like to try - appetizer of coconut shrimp was probably the best I have had anywhere.
Rick Erwin's Clemson delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is consistently outstanding, perfectly cooked steaks, great sides, and top-tier quality all around. The service is professional, attentive, and makes you feel welcomed without being overbearing. Whether it's a special occasion or just a great night out, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Clemson.
We had a fantastic date night dinner! The food was fabulous and the staff was so gracious, pleasant and kind. We love the elegant atmosphere too!
We enjoyed a quiet date night at a beautiful table for two with candlelight. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was romantic.
One of our favorite places to dine. The service and the food were fantastic. Everyone is always so friendly. Just a wonderful evening.

We had a wonderful dinner celebrating 2 birthdays! Staff went out of their way to make it a special dinner.
We had a great time at dinner. We have been to this location a few times since it opened, and in the past I have felt it was not as good as the Greenville locations. We decided to go last night since it is much closer to us. I have to say, our experience this time was so much better. The food was excellent. I was not very hungry so I got the surf and turf special and the filet was extremely tender and cooked perfectly (medium). My husband got a newer menu item steak and said it was very good. We tried the lobster corn and it was great. I thought the portion sizes were great. The waiter and asst. waiters were very personable and attentive. Our only negative was the dessert. We always get the creme brûlée so decided to try the brownie à la mode this time. It wasn't that great because we expected the brownie to be warm since it was served with ice cream. It still wasn't bad, just not as expected. Also, for the bar- I had two espresso martinis and requested them extra creamy and they were excellent. My husband got a dirty martini with the Clemson bc olives and he said it was great as well. The bread was warm and I enjoyed the three varieties. We will definitely start coming to RE-Clemson more frequently instead of driving all the way to Greenville.
Another enjoyable evening and dinner and our waiter Dixon was great. It was my birthday so the mega sparkler with our dessert was great!!! We have enjoyed Rick Erwin's in Spartanburg too, they never disappoint!
Wonderful meal celebrating my wife birthday with friends. What I thought might be a quaint table of four we were seated at a table adjacent to a birthday party table celebrating a birthday that included outdoor sparklers with a terrible odor. Another large group table was also adjacent to our table with a robust group of men. This looked like a group of men that worked together having a celebration type dinner. I didn't mind that so much but the sound levels to where we sat were just too high. Rick came by to check on us but it was prior to us receiving our main course. It was a long wait but our waitress, Mac was very accommodating. The kitchen was overworked but the food once received was delicious. Service was very good, but a noise separation needs to be installed to separate that large table in front of the large dining room from the tables to give us old folks a quieter environment.
Great food & service. Gracie was our server & she did a wonderful job. Impressed. Will reserve again.
