Only option is the drive thru. Did a mobile order, went through the drive thru, the very pleasant girl handed me A drink and I left. I got halfway home before I picked what I thought was my drink and realized it felt small. Took a sip and realized it was not mine. Pulled the outside cup down and it wasn’t my name nor my order.

I turned around and went back. The line was wrapped around the building of course and I had the pleasure of sitting in the line for over 20 mins to tell them they gave me the wrong drink since I couldn’t go inside.

They immediately knew who I was at the speaker, apologized, and remade my drink. The girl at the window didn’t even make eye contact this time as she quickly handed my drink to me.

I was annoyed and still am. Your employees messed up my order so I have to wait in that line for over 20 mins in order to get my correct order? How is this good customer service? I’m not even sure how if you completely removed the option to come inside, and the only option is drive thru, and our names are on the labels, how you can possibly screw that up? She even asked me my name at the window before she walked away to get my order.

Then I go through your Google reviews and it seems like there is an ongoing issue with customer service at this location and people complaining about the drive thru only option, yet nothing is being done to correct the problems. Seems like lazy ownership and management.

And let me guess, I’m going to receive the same exact generic response to this as everyone else that I can follow a link to send more details for you to contact me? Yeah. Ok. Absolutely ridiculous and lazy.

This place is terrible…. 12+ cars in the drive thru and the lobby is closed. Then- there is a 2 order minimum… makes nooooo sense! Hire more people or close completely

This is the only Starbucks in Clemson that allows you to use the app, but it is currently inaccessible for students without vehicles to access. After walking a mile to the location, I discovered that not only was the inside closed, but only cars were allowed through the drive-thru. So I was left with no option to get a drink, even if I paid for a mobile order prior to arriving. This is an incredibly dumb decision on management’s part, because they are excluding and opting out of money from this demographic of students. This is not the first time I have encountered issues with this Starbucks. Workers and management have been rude since I came into Clemson in early 2025. Would suggest other options in Clemson.

Why does it say open at 4:30am when it actually isn’t? Twice I’ve tried to stop there before work and it’s not open. What are the actual hours of operation?

Shark Attacks

Do not stop here in the morning if you have an appointment or are going to work. Sixth car in the drivethru, and we've moved one space forward in fifteen minutes. No exaggeration. However, my drink has never been made wrong.

My daughter got her first ever bee sting here this afternoon. She was terribly afraid of being allergic because it runs in the family. Luckily, a wonderful fellow Mom named Megan was working and helped my daughter tremendously! She helped her treat it and most importantly made her feel safe and got her out of a major anxiety attack! I cannot thank Megan and the rest of the staff there enough for taking care of my daughter who’s 5 hours away in college. You all went above and beyond and even gave her a free drink card for her next visit. I’m so glad someone was there to take care of my daughter when I couldn’t be. Megan even spoke with me on the phone. Thank you so much again!!!
