Stopped by TD’s Food and Drink in downtown Clemson during a road trip, and it’s the go-to spot before a game, buzzing with Clemson spirit right next to campus!
This lively student dive bar delivers high energy and a perfect pre-game vibe. The wings were a standout, packed with flavor and cooked just right. The sandwiches were delicious too, hearty and great for a casual lunch. My wife and I shared a pitcher of “The Tiger” (orange vodka, Sprite, and orange juice), a fun, citrusy drink that was a hit with our table and new friends we made among Clemson students and alumni - such a great community feel!
That said, the dive bar atmosphere - loud, crowded, and unpolished - might not suit everyone, though it’s part of the charm if you’re here for the game-day hype. Service was solid but a bit stretched during the busy lunch rush. If you’re looking for tasty bar food and the heart of Clemson’s pre-game excitement, TD’s is the place to be. Go Tigers!

I ordered the Tiger Tenders Basket with curly fries, and HOLY CRAP—those tenders were so good I nearly shouted “CAESAR!!” into the night sky. Crispy, juicy, seasoned to absolute perfection. The honey mustard slapped harder than a Stand rush. And don’t even get me started on the burgers. That patty had more flavor than my family history.

We had fried grouper, fries, slaw, salad with sweet tea! Fresh hot grouper and fries! Nice salad! They have meat and three or a large sandwich, and other entrees.

The WORST customer service/experience I’ve EVER had the mis-opportunity to take part in. APPALLED by some of the staff. Will never go back again. Disgusted and disturbed by the rudeness of some of the workers. If this is how one conducts business, I’m embarrassed.

TD’s is your classic college bar, through and through. As someone without any nostalgic ties to the place, I walked in as an outsider and it definitely feels like a spot that means more if you’ve made memories there. The different levels are a unique detail though.
That said, the food pleasantly surprised me. The wings had great flavor, though they were a bit dry and needed extra sauce. The wraps were also unexpectedly tasty, but were also begging for a little more dressing to really shine.
Weirdly enough, the floor was practically Velcro under my shoes. Wear boots or shoes with laces. There isn’t much parking either so lace up and start walking. My biggest issues was the much-hyped unlimited wing deal doesn’t kick in until later in the day: a detail missing from the menu. Our waitress wouldn’t budge, which was frustrating since it was the main reason I chose the place.
Bottom line: Probably not where you take visiting family, but if you’re rolling in with friends, it’s a solid move.

I was at a community event : trick or treat on College avenue and had the unpleasant and extremely nasty experience of the manager or owner of this establishment. He came out the door to inform other community members who had sat up their spot placed by City/Chamber, by ways of yelling and throwing a tantrum that he wanted to be in his spot. Demanding the businesses move on or go get the person in charge. As if he were their leader. Then set up his “tent” while he and his employees continued with rude remarks until they ran out of candy midway through. A fun family community event that this little thoughtless overacting business owner could have handled way better stopped me in my tracks of having a nice meal in that establishment. I will never walk in that door now. So beware!

The place is nice and fun, we were seated at a table but then we were asked by someone else to stand up again because it was taken. We didn't have a new table assigned and had to stand for most of the time. But we had a good time there.
