The Esso Club Reviews
I ate at ESSO Club on Saturday night for my first time and I for sure want to come back... I had the Ribeye Steak Quesadilla and it was yummy !!
Always a great place before or after a Clemson event.
The food was terrible! Mashed potatoes smelled disgusting, even the cook agreed. Member of our party ordered a glass of wine that was served in a plastic dollar store cup, when guests at another table had wine glasses. The waitress told us she would have to find one and wash it lol After asking multiple times for a glass we gave up. They were out of numerous foods that we tried to order. The Esso Club is a popular spot in the Clemson Area, often referred to as The World Famous Esso Club/bar & grill. It is known for its kind gestures and welcoming atmosphere. While the interior may seem smaller than expected, the food is generally good, with some exceptions like the fried pickles, which can be soggy. The fried pickles, peach cobbler, and burgers are considered phenomenal. The service at the bar can be pleasant or unpleasant, and it can be a bit slow at times. The restaurant is a great place to grab a meal before or after a Clemson game, with the added bonus of being within walking distance from the stadium. However, parking is limited on the premises, so it is advisable to look for parking on the side near the dumpster, on the side road, or along the back. The portion sizes, especially for the appetizers, are enormous, making it a good idea to go with more than one other person if wanting to finish an appetizer.
