Day after a Clemson game! All the workers were tired but did a good job. Literally the only place we could find to take our dog and watch the Packer game in Clemson.

I ate at ESSO Club on Saturday night for my first time and I for sure want to come back... I had the Ribeye Steak Quesadilla and it was yummy !!

Waited 20 minutes to get a bartender’s attention, then was told he couldn’t take cash and I would have to go wait in another line for that. For a business, seems peculiar to turn away someone trying to give you money. I walked out.

The drink prices were outrageous and the staff was inattentive, especially given the fact that the place was almost empty, but the did have the NFL Sunday Ticket so I guess $60 for three drinks to watch an NFL game is par for the course in a college town. Parking was seriously lacking and I can’t imagine where people park when they’re busy.

We have eaten here twice prior to the Clemson games, but this past Saturday the food was cold coming to the table. Our service was slow as it seemed the waitress was overwhelmed. Atmosphere is fantastic before a game.

Great college sports bar. Lots of pub food, TVs, and beer. Within walking distance to the stadium.

I’ve been 4 times the past couple months and everytime has been awful. I keep coming back to try and give it another chance and it never fails to disappoint. The food is mid and the service is terrible. If they’re busy expect to wait an hour and a half to get your food. Today, our food came out completely cold and gross. Would not recommend if you want a decent dining experience. All the rest of the comments are biased. Go Tigers

UCLA guy here and yes a Clemson fan. I will tell u when speaking of the esso club. We refer to it as The World Famous esso club/bar & grill.

Parking: Parking is limited in the premises. Don't let that detour u. There is parking on the side near dumpster, on side road and along the back.

Yuck! This place is straight up terrible. We had basic burgers and fries/onion rings. Waited 45 min (non game day) which isn’t a big deal until cold food gets put on the table. Burger tastes like meatloaf. Mushrooms were actually raw and a little dirty. Onion rings were a soggy oily mess. The inside of this place is also dirty.

Good food, a cool place to eat, a good atmosphere, and walking distance from the stadium is not bad either.

Parking: Most of the parking is just down the street a better of saying off-site

Kid-friendliness: I think for lunch, maybe not for dinner
