Dinner (bar food) at The Esso on the Clemson campus last Wednesday. What a find for a fun sports bar w/ friendly staff and pretty d___ good food. Taylor is an Excellent bartender. Check out The Esso is ever visiting Clemson. We also visited a great brewery in downtown Greenville called Yee Haw to watch the Miami/Ole Miss game. Also worth a visit.
A friend and I stopped in after a hike. The food was fresh . I had a fried chicken sandwich that was big and delicious. Their onion rings were perfect. Love the atmosphere and our server was on top of things. 👍🏻👍🏻
The drink prices were outrageous and the staff was inattentive, especially given the fact that the place was almost empty, but the did have the NFL Sunday Ticket so I guess $60 for three drinks to watch an NFL game is par for the course in a college town. Parking was seriously lacking and I can’t imagine where people park when they’re busy.
