Jitter's Cafe

Stopped here as a mini-adventure for lunch to avoid the typical fast-foods along the way. It's about 1.5 miles off of I-95. Discovered the charming business strip of Clinton. After a relaxing lunch, and pleasant exchange with the staff, headed on to Jacksonville, only to discover at Savannah that I left my purse hanging on the chair in Jitter's! Tried calling--no answer. Always gotten great service and generous portions on sandwiches and soups. Where else can you get a full meal that taste great and is filling for under $8. You can eat here every day and always leave happy !

This place is an amazing little break away from the usual restaurant feel, I didn't feel like I was ordering food at a usual place, but almost like i was ordering food at a friends house, the staff were helpful, giving their own nice suggestions and extremely open to talk to. The atmosphere is just a continuation of that “friends house” feel with a dining table if you'd like that, a couch, a larger table for parties, and high top bar style seating.
