Got a take out meal, 2 fish and chips plates and an order of fried pickles. Fish was great, comes with one piece of fish about the size of a deck of cards, two hush puppies and fries. Unfortunately we only ate a total of two fried pickle chips because they tasted like they were fried in the fish oil. Sad because you get a great amount for $5 but we barely touched them.

I got the Freedom Burger. Very large traditional American burger with bacon and the fixings. It did not come with fries included so I ordered them also. Honestly, did not like the fries, as they were battered and cooked well done. Not overdone but just not my cup of tea. But the burger was the best burger I have eaten in the last three years. The biggest drawback to this restaurant is their hours. Some days they are only open for lunch, some days they are open for dinner. Makes it hard to know when you can eat there. They also carry ice cream. Will have to try that next time.

I came from out of town and was looking for something warm and satisfying to eat. The food here was great, staff was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Not to mention the building is so cute. Def recommend if you are in Clinton SC.

New favorite burger joint. Cheese Max (or something like that) is nothing short of amazing - they let the cheese overflow onto the griddle, so you get a Saturn Ring of fried cheese. And if you like your fries crispy, theirs won’t disappoint.

Had fish and chips with fried green tomatoes. It was amazing. Customer service wasn't up to par but considering our server was the only one covering several tables it was understandable. Support local businesses!!!

Their brunch menu/food is the best in my opinion. Rest of food is good, but their blueberry pancakes are to die for!!! Service is extremely slow, which seems to be the theme nowadays everywhere. But, if I have to wait, then the wait for food here is by far worth it compared to any other place i've patronized in town. The owner comes off to me as being much like a pissed off rattlesnake - he just has this look. I may be reading him entirely wrong, but it would be nice to see him smile every once in a while. Just my opinion, but we all have flaws. I'll dodge the occasional strike of his looks as long as he keeps loading up those blueberries!!!! I do respect, very highly, his patriotism towards our nation and armed services give him major props for that. I do recommend this place for the food quality, even if you have to put up with the slow service and rattling,

Best burgers you will find in the upstate! Despite its recent opening, they cook like they have been open for decades, making everything with care. This is a wonderful addition to Clinton and the owner, Terry, is fantastic!
