The food and service were outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. I was there on a Saturday evening and couldn't believe we had the place to ourselves. We were traveling from Atlanta and were amazed by the prices. More people should experience this place. We will definitely be back again and again.

This place has great potential. Servers were sweet but were still learning, no problem. Had the sirloin , good meat and tender but no flavor, fried pork chops were good, loaded mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes which was super disappointing and the 3 cheese Mac and cheese was boiled noodles with fake cheese sprinkled on top, watery and no real flavor. Cheese and garlic butter didn't melt on hot food. Just a bit of focus on quality ingredients would make this place 5 star.

Seems that the restaurant is owned by another company/party. The food was excellent, the service was top notch. Everything is A la cart.

Me and a friend from college ( 25 year) friendship met halfway for dinner on January 4th. The food was amazing and the service was great as well. I can't remember our waitresses' name, but one attends Lander University, and the other girl father works for state. Even though it wasn't busy, we loved the atmosphere, and our steaks were just right. We will be back. Thank you for such good food and service

We have been to the Pasture a few times. It is a good restaurant in the Clinton area, and one of the few operating in downtown.
The atmosphere is decent, a little on the smaller side, but still welcoming and never too loud or overly crowded.
Food is good, definitely better quality than nearby spots. There's a good variety of items to choose from, so it's a good place if you have a group with varying tastes. I have been here for both lunch (once) and dinner (four or five times now) and was satisfied with every experience. One thing to note, they do not serve alcohol at this location, so you will need to go elsewhere if you want wine/cocktails/beer with your meal.
Service is always good. We have never had a bad server experience here.
Would recommend if you are in the area, especially if want a break from the usual fast food places which dominate the town nowadays.

We heard good things about this restaurant so we gave it a try. I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye and my wife had the 8oz sirloin. Both were served on chipped plates along with salads in chipped bowls. Personally, I'd be very embarrassed to serve a $23 steak on chipped plates. The steaks were not good--tough and tasteless. The service was non-existent. I had to keep tracking down the waitress to get things, like drink refills. I'm sorry but this is my first and last visit. I cannot recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

The service was incredibly slow even with very few customers inside, the lady who sounds like she smokes a pack a day takes her time (putting it nicely) to come check on tables, forgets to bring things out.. both of our steaks were undercooked and had barely any seasoning. Wasn’t worth complaining about to get it taken off the bill or recooked, just won’t be back. If you serve steak, at least make it better than I could cook at home is all..

Excellent meal, service and atmosphere! I wanted sirloin tips but they were not on the menu. The chef cut and prepared my tips from the small steak on the menu. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. The only thing missing was crackers or croutons with the salad and bread served with the meal. I liked that the portion sizes were just right and not overly large.
