The food quality definitely depends on the time of the day. From my experience it's best to get there as soon as it opens. The food is fresh and good. I went there Thursday afternoon and it was completely different. You could tell it had been out for awhile, there wasn't any new dishes being added. Food was dried out and discolored. Both owners were present, so I know they saw what I saw; I just left.

I loved trotters. Called to place an order for chicken for Friendsgiving 25 hours ahead of time. Was placed on hold for her to ring up another customer & she never came back but I could hear every one talking. Hung up and called again 12 times the line has been busy. She never picked or hung the phone back up. Next !

One buffet and one plate to go .. The plate ends up being the price of the buffet .. so I ask the lady can I get buffet instead she makes the biggest scene like I want to “steal” a plate . I really like this place bec my grandmother come from nc just to go sometimes but I really don’t understand why treat me like that .. I understand no food out the door but to have the whole restaurant disturbed because you think I’m trying to steal a plate ..

I’m typically a very positive person. I always give four stars and above to every restaurant I go too. But I thought this restaurant was a complete joke. I know now why they moved to Clinton, South Carolina from Laurens South Carolina. If it would’ve stayed open in Laurens South Carolina, they would’ve went out of business Because they’re overpriced they have terribly service. The food is subpar. They have plastic utensils, plastic cups, and paper plates… But yet the buffet is over $17. I couldn’t eat $17 worth of food in three visits to that restaurant. Needless to say, I will never go back again. But of course, I’m sure for my bad review. There are quite a few others that love the place and to them more power to you.

Excellent homemade buffet food chicken, pork chops,collards, much more desserts. Food was excellent, will be going back $17.00 per person to eat in not sure price to take out
