I really want love Big Papa’s pizza but there is nothing special that keeps me wanting to go back for more. The dough is OK and has an interesting taste. A little buttery taste but with a bit too much salt. Not my favorite pizza crust in the area.
The sauce had a nice flavor, but it always a bit watery and has no substance. I am not looking for a pasty sauce, but their sauce has no consistency. The cheese is good.
Overall, Big Papa never puts enough sauce and cheese in their pizza. When you take a bite, most is the cheese slides off the slice. Once again, a sign of watery sauce. They are expensive, and I paid more than $5 for a slice of pizza. Seriously, does this look like a $5 slice of pizza? Very little sauce and cheese.
I have no problem paying for a great slice, but this is not one of them. I have been there about 5 times and will continue to support them, but not as my main go to pizzeria.

We have ordered a Supreme pizza here twice. The first time everything was good with the exception of not enough cheese or sauce to hardly even taste. 2nd time, we ordered extra cheese and extra sauce. 2nd time was worst than the first. Two small round circles of cheese on top(I was not amused) It had just a few extra dallops of sauce on top. The biggest difference however is we got about half the amount of toppings as we did the first time. Disappointed, we had high hopes for a new pizza place. I miss the pizza from our past. Millennials have no idea what good pizza really is! My advice, BE consistent and give the people what they want. Raise your prices if need be(I don't mind paying more for quality and consistency.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time (having passed by so many times after boating on the lake), because I always love to try new pizza as a native NYER. I guess I am a pizza snob coming from New York, and this was absolutely one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten in my life!! The dough was tough to chew, and there was hardly any sauce or toppings. Not to mention the cost!!! 26 dollars for what wasn't in my opinion a large pie. It was just a whole lot of cardboard in a box. Very sad as I had high hopes for my pizza.
