Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

I visited Zaxby’s in Clover, conveniently located next to Walmart. As I pulled into the drive-thru around 9:40 PM, I found the lobby was already closed and locked, forcing me to wait in line for nearly 15-20 minutes just to place my order.

Once I finally managed to get my order in, I ended up waiting an additional 35 minutes for my food. During that time, I couldn’t help but notice two guys in hoodies from the nearby Subway who had closed up their shop 30 minutes earlier casually strolling behind the counter and hanging out in Zaxby’s.

I do want to commend the young lady who was serving food; she was doing her best to keep up with the demands and ensure everyone received their orders. Her effort definitely deserves recognition.

However, I’m left puzzled by the two random individuals who felt it was okay to walk into the restaurant while staff were clearly overwhelmed trying to manage a long wait for what should have been a quick meal. Overall, my experience tonight in Clover was quite disappointing.

Ordered a milkshake and they said they didn't have any. Didn't get the extra cost refunded.

Pulled in to go inside to eat. Aside from 2 kids (obviously a workers) there was nobody else inside, should've been a red flag. Waited for a few minutes while we decided. The person behind the counter was telling other workers to come lock the front door. After we decided we approached the counter to be told only driver thru right now they have nobody to work the front. Won't be back

I go here for one reason and one reason alone - my daughter asks me to, and I usually try to dissuade her. Lord knows it’s not for the poor service and badly-prepared food. About half the time I go through the drive thru the order is wrong. Not surprising considering the lack of interest from the never the same twice staff that mismanage this place.

Got lunch for my wife and myself and it was $27!! The tenders were undercooked and their drive-thru has either been closed or only accepting cash for weeks now. If I'm paying sit-down restaurant prices for fast food I expect it to be delicious, and this Zaxby's is just not it. I really want this location to thrive because of the limited dining options in this area, but it's just plain bad nine visits out of ten.

Horrible Customer Service, took me almost an hour to get my food with less than 3 people in front of me, and the workers were all on their phones on Snapchat rather than tending to the customers. If I could give this store zero stars I would. And it’s been like this for the past three months, the store was great when it first opened

It's not the location's fault that the chicken is small now, but why are they always out of something or why is something always broken? The food is good though, and the staff is nice and gets their job done with what they can control.

I need to this Zaxbys 3 times and everytime I go, I go thru the drive thru and have to wait 15 minutes before I get my order…. Terrible and I will not go back….. Food be cold, not cooked right, etc….

I shouldn’t have to wait for a Zensation Zalad and today was my final and last time going there….

The funny thing is that I go around the same time between 7-8 pm when I go and the same results…

They could have at least added something extra….

There is always an issue with Zaxby’s in Clover. The drive thru is rarely open and if it is they don’t accept debit. The store has “system issues” and can’t take orders which essentially means they’re closed during operating hours. Employees are slow and generally standing still. There is always a reason why customers can’t order, there’s always a reason why they can’t serve food. I’ve never seen a fast food restaurant that has a “catastrophic” problem every day they’re open and it’s literally every single day. I ride thru daily just to see what their excuse will be. I got in the drive to line, which didn't move at all for over ten minutes. Nuff said.

Always disappoints

Zaxbys better be paying attention…I know y’all are 900+ locations and growing, but the abysmal service is going to catch up with you eventually. Awesome food only gets you so far. This particular location is the worst I’ve ever seen. Drive thru is cash only most nights and I’ve never received my order in less than 20min. “Warm bodies” hiring strategy at its finest.

This place is NEVER open when its suppose to be! Its 1050. Said it opened at 10. Doors are locked! I am currently watching someone unlock the door and walk in with a handfull of Mcdonalds food...

Fries had to be replaced but they immediately rectified it.
