Everything’s been great every time we’ve been.
We live locally and always go here. I'd say 98% of the time staff and food have been spot-on. Less than a handful of times I've gotten bad service. For those who are new or passing thru Conway check this place out. It's smoked food with a Southern flair.
Dietary restrictions: For those who are gluten sensitive they do list foods that are gluten free. Just remember that they can't guarantee that due to cross contamination

Horrible customer service. Walked in with a party of 7, 2 young kids. Was told there was a 45 min wait they would take our number and call us when ready. We checked back 45 mins later because we never got a call and the two hostesses smirked saying they called us and we didn’t answer so they had no tables for us it would be another 45 mins. They took the wrong number down and never cared to verify anything. When we showed them we had no missed calls they laughed and said it’s policy there’s no table to us. We spoke to the manager who didn’t seem to care at all their staff had terrible customer service. 0/10 will tell everyone how horrible they are.

First time here.
Service was friendly and quick! Our server was super sweet and funny.
The atmosphere is cute and fun and would be a great place to grab drinks.
The food, though, is a 0/10 for me. We Got the chips and queso, Mac and cheese and Tator tots, chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, and pulled pork sandwich with fries. The Mac and cheese seemed homemade…unsure…but extremely greasy! The pulled pork tastes like tuna, the chicken in the quesadilla resembles pork…which was weird. We got basic dishes for our first time so we could see if we’d like it or not. Won’t be back for food.

We tried to make a reservation 4hrs before we wanted to go to dinner for a party of 7 people. We were told reservations cannot be taken unless done 24hrs in advance, ok! when get there, we are told there is a 45 min wait and they will call us when the table is ready. The host takes our phone number down, doesn't repeat the number back to make sure she took the number correctly, so we have no doubts. We waited outside the restaurant for the 45 min and then go back inside to see how much longer of a wait. When we go in, the hostess claims she tried to call us three times and left a voicemail over 20 minutes ago. We explained that we have no missed calls or voicemail and she told us, "we called you and you didn't answer so we gave your table away. It's another 45 min wait if you want". We showed her the phone-- no missed calls or voicemails! she then looks at her phone call log and reads the number to us, which is clearly wrong, she dialed the wrong number!! When we tell her it is the wrong number, she tells me, i gave her the wrong number. No ma'am, i know my number! She wrote it wrong and yet we have to miss out. She should have repeated the number back to confirm it was correct. She then says its a 45min if we want a table. When we ask to speak to a manager, he came over with a very laid back approach, where it didn't seem like an issue that the hostess messed up and now the customer, with two little kids, has to suffer. Horrible customer service!!

Love this place, the food is pretty good but atmosphere is really where bonfire shines. If you can get a table outside when it’s nice out you’re in for a treat.

Love the atmosphere and the bartender had a great attitude! My husband and I had the pick 2 meats dinner and we split 1 meal of brisket and pulled pork with Mac and cheese and smoked beans! WOW! Excellent and we had food left over! Will definitely come back.

First time here and sat outside on the covered deck. Got here just in time to get the Cowboy Casserole off of the brunch menu. Haley L was our server and was very prompt and pleasant. I will definitely be back for more. Great view on the river and good food, no complaints about the spicy bloody Mary either!

I recently dined at Bonfire Taqueria, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. When we sat down, the waiter informed us that the wait for our food would be around 35 minutes. However, after an hour had passed, we still hadn’t received our meals. At that point, we decided to ask them to pack our order to go because the wait had become excessive. What made the situation even more frustrating was that despite knowing the kitchen was running slow, and with only 5-6 entrees for the table, the staff never offered any complimentary snacks or appetizers to help make up for the delay. The service was disappointingly slow, and it left a lot to be desired.

Friendly hostess and wait staff. We were seated within 5 minutes on a fairly busy night.
The food was hit or miss. I ordered the 2 meat combo, pulled pork & brisket, with smoked potato salad and collard greens for sides. The portions were generous, so so far, so good. The pulled pork was very good, but the brisket was tough, with no discernible smoke ring, no smoke flavor & had a half inch layer of fat across the top of the entire slice. It was pretty disappointing. The potato salad on the other hand was very good and had a distinct smoke flavor. My collared greens were okay, but a little too vinegary for my taste. My daughter had the Cuban sandwich, which she loved. My son had a double-burger which was a winner as well. My wife had the pulled pork platter, which was good, but the “creamy” cole slaw was more watery than creamy, and also pretty vinegary.
Overall, it was pretty good experience, but the big loser was the brisket.

This place is a vibe. It’s just a great place to stop and relax. The food is great, they have outdoor patio seating that is right in the river. The food is really good. Once you’re done eating, definitely walk around the town or the river walk a little!
